We'll be thankful for the extra days/months/years we have with her after what was initially successful surgery. Just so gutted for the wife and kids.

Just went to see the Michaelangelo Sistine Chapel exhibition. Lots of loose dongs floating around in those paintings, the guy certainly didn’t mind drawing guy's junk.

Definitely a Catholic priest joke in there somewhere too.

Circumstances different completely, and it’s not the same, but I kinda get it. My other half (age 30) was recently given a probable cancer recurrence . It doesn’t appear as serious as the first but awaiting second PET results.
The mindset thing is hugely tough - if you misjudge the situation and it throws you, it’s jarring.
