How about cricket?

Amazing how Tim David went from absolute embarrassment at the Scorchers to become one of the most influential players in the IPL and practically the world’s most in-form six-hitter.

Wonder if the Scorchers can pinch him back
Helps when the opposition captain doesn’t review a clear caught behind first ball.

Supporting Delhi feels a lot like backing Freo.

And a pretty bad dropped catch. I can’t work out which team to support. I liked SRH because of Williamson and the orange connection but they stink

You can't trust a man with two first names.

Just screaming racist at someone you don’t like or don’t like the policies of doesn’t make them racist ….
Nah, it’s usually the overt racism that does that.

To clarify, I didn’t say if someone votes One Nation/UAP that they are racist.

Consider the relationship between a square and a quadrilateral*.

A square is always a quadrilateral, but that doesn’t mean that all quadrilaterals are squares.

Racists always vote One Nation/UAP, but that doesn’t mean all One Nation/UAP voters are racists. So it’s all good!

*Note for UAP voters: a quadrilateral is just a fancy big city word for one of them shapes what has four sides.

I don't have a team but I have ended up supporting Lucknow and Gujarat this tournament just because I'd find it funny if they ended up 1 and 2 and none of the established teams made the final

While obviously there's a difference between State and Federal, last night was a friendly reminder that the McClown crew and Clive Palmer bootlickers are an insignificant minority despite how loud and obnoxious they are on the Interwebs, including on our beloved West Coast board.

Glad WA sent a message. We're a conservative state, I get that, but don't take us for granted. Those swings, heck!

That’s exactly how I feel. I dig Lucknow and their teal independence plus Stoinis is always entertaining to watch, especially when he’s frustrated at being pushed down the order

Also a donkey vote is when you just order the boxes in the order they are on the ballot, it's not an informal vote, it's not a protest vote, it's not drawing a dick on your ballot. No one gets it right and it shits me

They didn't donkey vote, but they did jackass vote.

Biggest takeaway has to be the massive share of the primary vote that went to someone other than the Coalition or Labor.

There’s no other way to take it than as a massive middle finger to the majors, and the overall state of politics in the country.

All those teal independents. Literally, they would all be Liberal party candidates if the party would actually have them, instead of ramming in dud dudes all over the place.

I look forward to them learning their lesson which will obviously see them embrace more diversity and recalibrate back towards the sensible centre.

LOL, only joking.

Going to be interesting to see just how right they end up as more and more moderates splinter off

Also, colour me shocked that Scomo's 'daggy dad' routine didn't work second time round. First time round he was new to the job and the average punter knew eff-all about him.

Wait till aussie joe albo gets rolling.. no one knows him either, even most Alp voters are unsure of him but he wasn’t the other guy so no matter how many gaffes he threw out in the campaign it didn’t matter.
