I sort of recalled there was a bit of hesitancy about him because he was genuinely unproven at the time but there’s some real hostility about him from some posters. Particularly our multi quoter of days gone by
Can't understand why he keeps on wearing out his welcome

A good night to stay inside instead of roaming the streets, fighting crime. You know, as I'm sure one of us does.

You've finally slipped up and now I'll be able to locate your secret lair. It was only a matter of time.

Some of us are keyboard superheroes

Not paralysed though, just lazy.

In the window of the OP shop near my office was a set of 2 custom bowling balls in a leather carry bag for $20 a few months back. I kept walking and decided not purchase.

I went back a week later to see if they were still there and they were sold. I both rue and lament the day I let those balls go and they slipped through my fingers*. I still lay awake at night thinking of them. Not that I bowl more than 3 times a year but I've always wanted a custom bowling ball like that rose one Bill Murray had in Kingpin.

*title of my sex tape.

I see you less as a Bill Murray in Kingpin and more of a John Turturro in Big Lebowski type.

When I was a kid on holidays in Busselton sometime in the mid 90's the Red Cross Op Shop had a tub full of underwear with a sign that said "50c unless marked". Judging by the age and personality of the old dears behind the counter I am 99% the humour was entirely unintentional.

This 7plus app is a bucket of s**t. Cannot get it working to watch any Comm Games 👎 Unexpected errors night after night trying to create an account

It really is terrible. I say this as someone whose parents like to watch The Chase several hours after broadcast and will contact me if there's any trouble with the TV.

Keeping Up with Farmers that Married at First Sight the Real Houswives of Survivor season 37 is going to be an absolute belter.

Not going to watch it myself but I might watch other people watch it on Gogglebox.

When did FTA TV become so diabolically terrible? Was it:
a) when reality TV became increasingly popular
b) it slowly eroded as the internet became ubiquitous
c) when streaming services began dominating the landscape, or
d) it's always been diabolically terrible, we just didn't notice because that's all there was?

Genuine question, that. I rarely watch FTA these days but when I do I'm gobsmacked at how goddam sh*t it is.

A bit of all of that.
