Yep. Dates won't change (different dates in different states) but it'll become known as the King's Birthday instead.

Monarchy or Republic, I don't see our public holiday dates changing, and if they do, I can't see them changing by much. If there were to be any changes to public holidays it'll simply be by what we know them as.

I’m not a royalist, but Queen Elizabeth was an outstanding woman. Held herself with the utmost dignity in a position that is endlessly scrutinised with the absolute minimum of privacy
Hers was a life of incredible privilege bestowed upon her purely as a birthright that was given rather than earned yet it is a life very few would wish for due to its suffocating nature.

Charles’ actual birthday is 14 November so we could push the holiday back I guess.
Would make that long stretch after June with no public holidays even longer though. And would **** up the Royal Show.
