Watto was a legend. And TT ... yeah, that was no secret. I recall many juvenile puns about rims being thown around back in the day.
Amazing to think it took until this season for an active NBL player to come out. Progress can be infuriatingly slow. (see also: change the date issue)

There is still some lingering homophobia in society unfortunately. You only have to look at the hoopla that's caused anytime an organisation dares put a rainbow on their logo on social media and the backlash it gets. Some due to religious reasons, but others are just plain bigoted due to outdated views.

We are getting towards a more tolerant society, but there is still a ways to go.

So tanks being sent to Ukraine, why's anyone surprised by that? Russia saying it's not allowed, I'm no expert on war but does anyone follow any rules, the Geneva convention irrelevant when it comes to Russia and anyone else probably these days!

Agree, for most people it's just an excuse to have a day off, get together and have a bbq with a few mates. The date doesn't matter too much to a massive % of the population so just change it to a day in summer where it's always a long weekend.
