I hadn't heard of them until I read your post and had a read of a timeline. Had there been any theories for the motive released?

No theories. I'd read about it since it happened and everyone was turning on the cops for not having any leads. Sounds like they were kinda planting stories to watch how their suspect would act, but for a while there it appears they had absolutely no idea. And then you've got the house mates sleeping through it and not calling the police.

There’s too many murders in the US to keep up.

Nah these ones happened using a knife, not a gun, so it's more edgy.

Pun intended

Apparently he's working on a criminology PHD. Mustn't have been very good if he got caught.

But seriously seems like a chicken or the egg situation - did he have a screw loose and choose to study crime, or did the study push him over?

Big time. No motive either. Pretty wild the data cops can retrieve. I get creeped out enough when Google sends me a timeline of my movements each month.

Wait till you see the 5G tracking data from your COVID vaccine :p

You guys are really trying your hardest to summon georgie tonight aren't you?

It's not that complicated - you just have to say MAGA 3 times in front of a mirror and they'll appear holding Fauci's head on a pike.

Ahhh but you don't think you'd be privy to how some were solved, the methods of investigation etc in some units of the degree - at least to more of an extent than most people like myself.

From what I read he’d done a lot of things right to avoid detection but made two dopey errors. His car was seen in the vicinity at the time of the murders and they were able to track it at different times near the campus in the days prior. He also somehow left the sheath at the scene which contained his DNA (they’ve not found the knife yet)

They tracked him to his parents house in another state and even though he was putting their garbage in other bins they got some of his dads DNA from a neighbours bin that was enough of a match to the DNA on the sheath to say they were related

So he got probably 90% right which would be enough to pass the course with a distinction but in the real world he done ****ed up

Ted Bundy wannabe. Thankfully its crazy difficult to be a serial killer in this day and age with modern detective techniques and how advanced forensics is.
Not quite....
