Stop following me, reality.
Jokes aside, that was a very dangerous situation. That could've gone really really bad. Didn't that roo know that most Americans carry guns?!!

Speaking of loser virgin nerds, I was just playing some HZD and thinking about how much I enjoy in video games (particularly this one) stealthily shooting the armour off an enemy's head with an arrow for them to curiously come searching for me whilst I hide in the tall grass, only to shrug and say to themselves "must've been nothing" after 30 seconds and head back to where they were standing, staring at a wall.
HZD?

Horizon Zero Dawn

PS5 nerd stuff.

For me it's a photo finish between No Country for Old Men and All the Pretty Horses, with the former winning.
Just upgraded to ps5 from 4, my son finally talked me into it, LOVE the controller, so much better but I still keep getting told to EAD by random's as I drive by!

I asked about McCarthy because I've been getting into audible books big time (perfect for when snoozing at the beach), mainly spy stuff but was after something different so will give him a go 👍

LOL who's telling you to eat dicks for having a PS5?

They're a bit heavy reading, probably not great for easy reading/listening, kinda lots of existential ramblings and what not - No Country might be an exemption. I've read it 4 times and will still go back for more.

I wish they'd finally start releasing good stuff for the Next Gen.

I finally bought GOW; Ragnarok but didn't end up playing it over the last week off.

They really need to remaster RDR 1 for PS5

GOW is pretty awesome and is distinctly next gen, so is Elden Ring. Cyberpunk PS5 should be great - I havent tried the updated version yet. They're starting to get into releasing proper next generation games now - covid didn't really help out guess.

Has Cyberpunk been upgraded and fixed already?
Supposedly.

It's a poor meek version of the original vision.

TBH I played it through during release, suffered through the bugs and the repeated crashes. Worth it at the time, sure it is now with all the fixes.
Solid 7.5/10 game. To date the only PS5 game I've platinum completed.

New DLC supposedly out soon. Supposed to be about $40! Madness. Trying to makeup for the original games' financial shortfall I spose

You guys and your abbreviations,
It's like being at work offshore ☹️
DLC?

I'm relatively new/late to audio books but do enjoy listening to a thriller or non-fiction on commute or vacation.

But I can't imagine listening to CM or really any proper literature. I think you interact differently with writing when you read rather than listen.

Half the joy of good writing - to me anyway - is turning prose over in your head, allowing it to sing as you interpret it.

Semi-agree. I know what you mean, but listening to quality written word text by a good narrator (think, classically trained actor) can be very good.

I prefer to read in my own voice.
That is, no voice.

Other Half just re listened to all 7 Harry Potter books narrated by Stephen Fry. That was painful.
