Annastacia Palaszczuk resigns, just after I finally learnt to spell her name.

Wouldn’t mind seeing a balanced review of her time in office, everything I’ve seen either says she’s the best premier Australia’s ever had or another dictator about to face justice, nothing in between.
She did some good things, some bad things and mostly stuff that didn't really make a difference one way or another who was in office.

She hosted the Commonwealth Games and won the Olympic bid and didn't pull out of either of them.
Probably the first politician to ever be praised for not pulling out

I think she was the last survivor.

You can gripe about any particular pollie's particular decision in the handling of COVID but it must have been a life-ruiningly stressful time.

Unless you were Boris Johnson.

Within about a year all of McGowan, Andrews and Palaszszszszs have stepped down. Those three were probably the biggest thorn in the side of ScoMo and they will leave office with a better reputation than our former PM, no doubt about that.

All three of them leave with fairly mixed - but mainly positive - legacies. The conservative side of politics and armchair experts will say good riddance, but those who are more balanced will judge them as being great leaders during COVID which will be their defining moment when it comes time to reflect on their leadership.

Don't bring your hippie leftie pinko "balance" into this.

Look I don't know what's happening in here but I got bitten on the toe by an ant or a spider or something and it's doing me in badly.

I'm ready to pay a homie to bomb my lawns and get rid of these ants even if it wasn't their fault this time. My neighbours on both sides have done significant yard renos in the last year and I think I have half a blocks worth of ants all hustled up in my area. This issue has been ongoing but is now amplified.

Halp.
Have you tried hanging the body of one ant to warn the rest?

the COVID years means I now know who too many politicians are

We hate on Victorians for their arrogance with footy, but **** didn't we learn that NSW's campaigners have their head up their own arse from Gladys and then that pencil neck that followed her.

Less than six months after this cover, she resigned due to corruption.

What’s everyone thoughts on live albums/live recordings? I know some people despise em but I’m huge fans of it. Personally got into artists cause I’ve come across their live version of a song etc.
I enjoy watching live performances for the emotion/meaning conveyed by the artist. It's not about being pitch perfect, but delivering in the moment. See below. The Boss at his peak, displaying masculine vulnerability as only he can -

the rawness and emotion gives the music a bit of soul to it. I also enjoy when the artists talke/introduce the band on a live recording a lot for some weird reason
