Reasonable St Kilda supporters

I sat near some very reasonable Sainters at the game. They were happy but not nasty after the game: I think the real Saints fans aren't too fussed defending that rat Milne, they support their team and enjoy a win.

Of course we had some idiots (two Pies bagging Fraser tut tut, and a Saint moaning about umpires even when they got a free and bagging his own players too).

The bloke next to me was razzing Didak, he used a bit of wit and perhaps a tad too much swearing (his little girl was next to him) but he went for it hard and fair.

I had a crack at Milne, my best line was when he sprayed a shot and I said "the reason he didn't score was because the goals weren't tied up!" and the Saints had the good grace to laugh.

In the end we were defending our players from one another's attacks. Hard but fair I have to say, no malice.

Of course there was one bloke getting obnoxious, shouting back aggressiively "oh yeah? your blokes are all on drugs" stupid stuff, irrelevant mostly, just looking for a response rather than saying anything anyone wanted to hear.

Turned out he was an Eagles fan. Most unusual, the ones I've met have mostly been positively nice.

Successful like Collingwood? No, those teams have at least won a few flags in the past 50 years.

Collingwood, in the past 50 odd eyars, is just as successul as the dogs and saints - and you guys can't stand it. most of you posters have seen 1 flag, very few 2.

I gues you define "strange folk" as educated people, eh?

1 flag in 50 years is better than 1 flag in a lifetime !!!!
