Not that its a big deal as we havnt played a game yet but all of Warburton recruits have been training bar Ahmat who was at the training camp and is still playing in the NT. Probably the most exciting recruit has been training for a couple of months has now committed.

If this guy has better credentials than Paul White that you picked up Warburton top 3 this season.

Stolly has been training at Woori still and has said he wont be going anywhere.

Not what the rumour mill is saying Finger. Apparantly poor numbers at Woori, no sighting of big recruit that monkey has been talking about and he is almost certain to go to Healsville. Just what i am hearing though.... (From a man - who knows a lady - who has a dog - who cuts his wifes hair etc etc)

Stolly has committed to woori,I would be very surprised if he went back on his word 2 weeks out from the 1st game

Probably don't know much more than you, I'm afraid. I'm too far away and yet to catch up with all that's going on at the 'G'. Boronia rolled them on the weekend in a fairly close one, but it was not the Monnie of old, from all reports.
I think The Wall summed it up very well though, for both Monnie and the rest of the sides.
Good, impartial and penetrating post from the old 4th Estater! :thumbsu::thumbsu: :D

Just a quick one for ya gaz the great who do you get your reports from. Boys at the g going along quite nicely good numbers on the track and the returm of a few injured key players from last year see the boys looking just that little bit below average and seem to be really dreading round one against the premiers. So maybe gaz the great who hasnt been sighted in a while, which is a shame, maybe dont make the long arduous trip up to the g to watch the poor hawks get poorer

Second Divvy Ladder Prediction.

Seville
Trying not to be bias having played there years ago and a regular down at Tinny Hill but they are looking better than they ever have since the move to second divvy. From what I’ve seen on the track and praccy games they are the team to beat. Great pickups in their new ruckman, shore, reece and ekers, talented kids coming up from the unders and probably the thing that impresses me the most is their depth. Good 2s side with 5 or 6 players that will be putting pressure on the 1sts. Only thing that concerns me is a lack of older experienced players...

Yarra Junction
Have picked up a few handy players including Ryan and will be slightly better than last year. Given that they finished second they will be eager to do one better. Trav Selby has them playing a good hard brand of footy but I think at times they walk a fine line between hard and dirty which costs them a lot of frees.

Emerald
How much improvement will the bottom side from last year see with the addition of few guns? Plenty. They were underrated last year and looking back any of the bottom 5 sides could have finished bottom. Have recruited the best out of any second divvy side, in particular Porter and Simpson, but their depth won’t be as great as the 2 sides above them. A few key injuries could ruin their season.

Kinglake
To be honest I haven’t heard a lot about them but they have been good for 2 years now and from the little I know they have picked up more than they have lost. The loss of their gallichio is a big one but they have enough to cover it.

Belgrave

Will improve on last year and are headed in the right direction. A good feeling around the club due to their new facilities and being back on their ground will help them. Can’t see them challenging the top 2 but they will be the last of the main competitive sides.

Poweltown
Will be on par with last year. Have lost a couple including their best player but picked up a few decent guys as well. Most years after their top 10 players they drop away dramatically.

Yea
Based on where they were last year and listening to their coach on valley vision they are in a rebuilding period. Great that they have the 18s up and going but they struggle for depth. Last year they had as many as 5 blokes playing seniors and reserves to make up the numbers and unless they have had a huge influx of numbers it will probably happen again.

Alex
Stab in the dark that they will finish bottom as ive heard little about them on the forum nor do i know anyone from the club.

All just my opinion, dont mean to offend anyone!

Thats a big drop u have in mind for Alex. Premiship a few years ago to Bottoms 2nd divi can they be that bad? Also doesnt feel that long ago Thorton won a flag. Seems to be falling apart up the hill. Heard a whisper Alex close to signing a former Vermont champion ruckman, may be past his best but still could be good value in 2nd divi or even 1st.. Lives in yarra glen i believe but works up around Alex.

Great post Valley Vibe! good to see the forum getting back to some footy talk instead of slagging each other off. Alex look like they've picked up a few from Thornton. Not sure if they are good players or not.

This is surely a mistake, we all know the finger does not live in a one man fantasy land, and only deals in fact...

Not to worry finger, at least Matty Wright won't be leaving the tiger den...

Gee fancy someone changing there mind guess at your club everyone signs first night and its done and dusted. Would be a few shocked people at Woori Id imagine. Guess Healesville finally put a offer to him he couldnt refuse plus a few broken promises at Wooris end.

Broken promises and lack of numbers on the track I heard. Up until a week ago he was willing to see it out.
have heard the same things but lets not kid ourselves into thinking that the little man is not getting handsomely compensated to play up next to the greyhounds. and hey good luck to him, who can blame him.
