Turning it into a positive, I hope it allows Reef to rotate through the midfield, even allows us to blood a couple of our other younger drafteesThe lipinski injury makes Reef a bit more of a lock for the round one starting 22.
Reef's leap looks pretty good from a couple of examples in the first practice match. Reading the ball flight and timing the leap is where AJ has shown more. - Speaking of which, Ollie had that at us, but is beginning to look damn scary as he develops - he's hitting marking contests hard and high in the praccy matches.Reef has pace, good work rate, he does have agility. Not the leap of AJ probably because given he has been a mid its not something thats been a focus on his game. But he has good hands. Eventually hopefully he will evolve to be a forward-mid though. Similar to what Lippa does.

Might also give Ed Allan an early look in.

Hey Jen, what has he shown that gave the Club the confidence to give him 2 more years. Or was it what he showed before he got here do you think.
His pre-season has been exceptional to where they thought he would be. Given he hadn't played a lot of footy lately, they have been really happy with his development.Hey Jen, what has he shown that gave the Club the confidence to give him 2 more years. Oliver who?
I thought Ollie had a pretty good game, 1 of their better players. Had 15 disposals, 10 contested, 6 marks, 2 goals (should have been 3 thank you Darcy Moore), and a couple of clearances.
Looks good on the stat sheet but up there with one of the worst 15 possession two goal games I’ve seen.I thought Ollie had a pretty good game, 1 of their better players. Had 15 disposals, 10 contested, 6 marks, 2 goals (should have been 3 thank you Darcy Moore), and a couple of clearances.
He hardly worked hard for those 2 goals though. They were absolute gifts.I thought Ollie had a pretty good game, 1 of their better players. Had 15 disposals, 10 contested, 6 marks, 2 goals (should have been 3 thank you Darcy Moore), and a couple of clearances.

he has great hands in trafficI still don’t get why all the talk is that they want McInnes to be a midfielder. Everything I’ve seen from him shows he’s got huge potential as a marking forward.
Might be trying to develop him into another one of those who can rotate through the middle. He is electric up frontI still don’t get why all the talk is that they want McInnes to be a midfielder. Everything I’ve seen from him shows he’s got huge potential as a marking forward.
