But you did get him......he's going to the **** burners isn't he?Clark will be a good get when the trade is reviewed in a couple years. Remember we wanted him too.

Just because we paid too much for Kelly, doesn't mean you can't comment on other trades surely?Pot calling the kettle black for those saying freo paid overs for clark.
Did we pay too much for Kelly? We gave the cats a heap of middling picks. Not a single top 10 pick.

The key point was that he was an A grader for two AFL seasons.I think we paid a bit too much.
Completely different trades though.
Kelly was an A grader and Clark couldn't get a regular game.
The key point is he was an A grader when traded. The key point was that he was an A grader for two AFL seasons.
Two years of form is sufficient to deem someone an A grader now huh.The key point is he was an A grader when traded.
I get that you're trying to justify your stance that we overpayed but 2019 AA and 5th in the Brownlow is an A grader. Two years of form is sufficient to deem someone an A grader now huh.
we didn’t over pay if we were guaranteed to get A grade performance across an entire career. Fact remains it was only two seasons of exposed form. That form was some of the best form in the competition but that doesn’t make him an A grader.I get that you're trying to justify your stance that we overpayed but 2019 AA and 5th in the Brownlow is an A grader.
Absolutely, also doesnt mean i cant reply pessimistically tongue in cheekJust because we paid too much for Kelly, doesn't mean you can't comment on other trades surely?
How can you possibly predict if a player is going to be an A grader in the future? His exposed form was elite so that's what his price was, what if next season and he goes back to his 2019 form and gets even better? Then we wouldn't have overpayed by your logic. But then 3 years down the track he goes to shit and suddenly we have overpayed again?we didn’t over pay if we were guaranteed to get A grade performance across an entire career. If West Coast paid a similar amount to trade in Angus Brayshaw in 2018 - he finished third in the Brownlow after all - would we agree we traded in an A grader?
Comprehension not your strong point. Two years of form is sufficient to deem someone an A grader now huh.

If we had traded in Angus Brayshaw in 2018 then yes, at the time we would have traded in an A grader because that was his exposed form at the time but you can't then retrospectively say 'oh no he wasn't actually an A grader' when he doesn't live up to it
I guess we have different definitions of what ‘A grader’ means then. Nothing to do with comprehension at all - love how that’s the default response from some on here whenever anyone disagrees.Comprehension not your strong point.
When the deal was done, Kelly was considered to be an A grader.
we wonPerformance of Kelly vs Cameron vs whoever was taken with the picks involved go go go.

NRL players a ****ing dumb. Haha NRL players really don't know how to party hard discreetly.
Some of the stuff they filmed and stuck all over social media is hilarious in that how did they think anyone wouldn't see it lol
I didn't realise that thing was a perpetual trophy. The clubs keep it for a year and have to pay $30k for a replica if they want one!NRL 2021: Penrith Panthers grand final celebrations; Andrew Abdo says club could face sanctions, news, updates | news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site

Your fighting a losing battle here….
Someone will point out the equivalent ‘point value’ of said picks….
Plus they were all going to be superstars too, so we really did miss out.
Add in 4 years of showing fu** all from mid to late first round superstar/bust Jarrad Brander and it’s no surprise the club hasn’t won a flag in 3 seasons..
