He also has his own Lyonisms which can be hard to follow. Nafan just speaks in an easy to digest way, simple enough to follow, insightful enough to absorb the content more than a bunch of plebs pretending to know what they're talking about.

I've been on the Buckley train since we beat them in the GF after I saw how he handled the banner lady and the runner; both were absolutely distraught and he was admirable with his responses to both. Since in the media he's balanced, informed and doesn't get caught up in hysteria.

Considering I disliked him as a player I am pleasantly surprised.

14 goals in the first quarter between GWS and Brisbane

Playing like the match in Launceston last week where the Lions lost to the Hawks as well. In trying to generate more forward pressure Brisbane are becoming leaky against the quick ball going the other way.

High scoring shootouts reminiscent of 90s style football are a result.

Its all paving the way to back to back cups for the dees.

There is literally no competition for them.

All it takes is an injury to Oliver or Petracca and their season is in complete jeopardy.

Or a coach with some creativity decides to stack the middle and tag both at the same time.

You love to see it.

Wouldn't be surprised if both teams shut it down, and we get less goals kicked for the next 3 quarters.

Well pigs do fly.

Brander just outmuscled marcus adams.

Saw that, surprised me as well.

Has become the definition of an almost player - has all the talent, but makes terrible decisions that end up making him a liability.

Exactly what happened.

Brisbane locked the game down, keeping the ruck a kick behind play and deploying J.Berry as a spare in defence - hence why he has 20 disposals at half time.

Until Brander's successive late turnovers leading to goals for Brisbane, just 3 goals had been scored from both teams that quarter in contrast to the first.

Brander out played by dev robertson.. goal
Then drops and uncontested mark on the boundary line….

Those that wanted something for him really over estimated him…maybe his last afl game today

And the vic media think the NSW teams would be selling the farm for him .

He has missed so many games due to personal issues . I know his dad passed but even before that he was taking ' time off ' .

Dane beams type red flags . Older player whose heart isn't in it anymore wanting a change to help his lifestyle

Hardwick stopped just short of saying the Sydney clubs should take him

It’s a red flag when a club is happy to see a player leave, even more so when it’s a player of Dusty’s calibre

Being seen to not be standing in the way of a champion wanting to move on helps them look compassionate but they’ll know full well that his output is likely to decline so moving him now whilst he has some currency is a win for them. Especially if he initiates the move

Not a hope in hell that they’re supporting a trade if they think he’s still capable of playing near his best

2 years of 1.3mill a year is a massive contract to take on .

With GWS cap squeeze i doubt they would chase him .

Sydney don't need him they have so much talent on their list already .

1.3 mil is massive amount of coin for each of the next seasons
i think its wishful thinking from the tigers
only a side that is very close to a premiership would spend that
