Just quickly Lads - I thought this was sensational

About time someone did something over there.

Agree 100% with what he said. And what Biden said.

But anyone who saw the Texas mass press event with the Police Chief, Governor, various politicians etc. will have worked out that nothing will change.
All about evil within the community, only god can heal blah blah blah.
And they all pushed the gun lobby party line that the guy had no criminal history and no known mental health issues and therefore he wouldn't have been picked up even with gun control laws. And already they are pushing the old 'the teachers need to be armed' line.

And everyone is so immune to violence. It's everywhere. Movies, TV shows, news channels, war coverage, games and so on. This is all ok, but if someone shows a naked boobie to a 17 year old its like the world is about to end. The youth have been corrupted. Morality has fallen.

I just think that as a nation they have gone collectively mad and blind when it comes to guns.

Nothing will ever change, because Americans love guns more than they love their kids.

They love their kids fine. They just don't give a rat's about other peoples kids.

It's the same reason they have their ridiculous health system.

The fear of losing something of their own to give someone else, in a bad situation, a free kick is pathological.

Couple this warped sense of "defend mah freedums" with zero social conscience and zero personal responsibility and you end up with the shit show they have over there.

Chris Scott all signed up until end of 2024. Should be interesting to see how the list management plays out over that period with the end nearing you'd think.

Contrary to the common perception, the majority of people in the USA actually do want to see real action in relation to gun control to reduce armed violence.

The bigger problem is their system of governance, with its blatant gerrymandering and non-recognition of major demographic and population shifts over time, now actively denies that majority the chance to have its views fairly represented.

At its most basic level, Government exists so that the citizenry can go about its daily activities without the fear of injury or death being incurred.

If a Third World country had mass shootings within its schools on a weekly basis, it would be (justifiably) labelled as a failed state.

Unfortunately, after the mid-term elections later this year, politics in the USA is headed for another phase of regressivism. Any hope of grassroots majority-based reform upon divisive issues such as gun control may as well be a snowflake on the fire well into the 2030s at least.

Buddy probably going to get weeks for doing his take of a Will Smith slap on Cotchin.

Tigers getting away with a different set of rules when it comes to incorrect disposal once again.

"Ball knocked out in tackle" - shouldn't that be the definition of not disposing of possession correctly? No wonder players and fans alike get frustrated with this.

Brian Taylor spends the last 3 minutes whinging about the free kick total instead of calling the thrilling game and then he idiotically suggests that the Swans player should have known that was a free kick when his back was turned and the siren was blowing.

And they wonder why people are turning away.
