Boy oh boy the Essington video is going to be a good watch this week.

He had time and space before he opted to play on.
Surely if you play on ( I don't think he did) and run yourself into trouble, you're allowed to force it through if you're under pressure?

Be interesting to see if anything comes of it.

I'm going to take my own to the bank. This season is average.

Swans finishing 2nd is also a result of AFLs rigged avalanche of quality players they have access too with the Swans academy. Swans don't have to drop like we do as there rebuilding is through academy picks. They get given so much. Those weapons are almost all AFLs gifts to produced quality Swans academy players.

Make no mistake this Swans side rebuild isn't a miracle or great. It's AFLs love child being gifted ongoing rebuilding. While the Eagles constantly get slapped in the face. Swans making 2nd is a negitive reflection on this league as a whole.

I hate the Swans and don't want them anywhere near playing in a Grand final.
you are entitled to your prejudices. on the other hand their playesr stand out for pace and desperation. yet we discuss which slow WAFL players should be kept. Even old mate Hickey was very useful for them.

I thought it was only Worsfold who was holding Essendon back from being a powerhouse.
Surely once he went Ratten would lead them to the promised land?

The 9 things we learned was a better read

He probably plays on Hawkins next weekend, a player who’s given us grief in the past

If Sexual can keep him relatively quiet it might just get him over the line. Conversely, if Hawkins gets hold of him then it might give the selectors enough of an excuse to pick Rance ahead of him

It's why I'm glad we bottomed out this year (and hopefully have a plan of moving some of the midfield vets on). Imagine being Essendon, the Saints or the Power and being stuck going nowhere for another year at the middle of the ladder.
The campaigner supports of those campaigner clubs probably think they're working towards a flag. At least Essendon have a few players and will get a top 10 pick this year. Port will probably rise next year but I don't see them going all the way. And Saints - they have all the ingredients for mid table purgatory.

I'd much rather be us.

Their must be some good ganster nickname for TB, with a tommy gun link. Sexual is great though.
Tom v Tom next week, who gets the tom thumbs up.

9 from 9, and one off the lead in the work tipping comp, but with an inferior margin tally.

Anyone else gunning for tipping glory???
I’ve been pegged back so I’m equal top going into the final round, but leading on the margin.

I blame the Suns (and their inaccuracy) last week! I was the only one who tipped them and they ought to have run over the Hawks.

If Rance could get it off his 9 good games in 2014 (out of 17 he played that year) I think Barrass is every opportunity to be AA.

Nomination at least but I can’t think of many KPD’s who would have performed as well under the pressure he has this year. Been terrific and a well deserved nod for the year he has had. A quite decent re-signing last year, even if it was prompted by the interest from the swans.

Had a mare last week to go from equal top to 2 points behind. We get a bonus point for 9/9 that is haven't hit all season, and still haven't thanks to Essington today. Hail mary time next week.
