I'm just curious to the reasoning:

There's no other games at the MCG that day. They won't be able to have crowds. Must be tv slot and that's it?

It's totally just for TV, but I don't hate the change from a less chance of embarrassing ourselves point of view.

I'm not hugley fussed either, if it brings a little light to those in Vic that are in lock down then whatever.

Nice to have a traditional saturday afternoon game too.

The detail is far to trivial for me to be bothered following. Teams were rushed out of vic, but four have been left there. Is ther any logic to explain this? It doesnt appear to be like reasonable risk management. If is say in Vic why evacuate some? And so on

*checks weather for Saturday*

40% chance of rain - driest day all week!

Since when is Perth so damn wet? - is it all the Covid causing this?

It’s been pretty much non stop rain for like the last 3 weeks. I’m about ready to move to the desert, I can’t handle the rain and cold, Perthies aren’t built for it. If I can’t wear shorts all year round, then it’s too bloody cold.

It has been very wet though. 170mm this month already and we still have over 10 days to go.

To describe a very complex matter in very much simplified terms, the current record-breaking heatwaves that are occurring over western North America and eastern Siberia are impacting the way the planet is able to transfer heat. As a result, air circling Antarctica has been able to extend northwards, bringing a series of cold fronts to Perth with the associated rain, wind and cold weather.

When will it end? I'd read this was going to be a reasonably dry and mild winter for Perth 🤔 at least I think I did!

Lachie Neale hurt again

Lions season unraveling at a fast rate

“In 2016 when I left to go to West Coast, Clarko said ‘it will be great for him, he’s got coaching aspirations to get some experience at a new club’ then he rang me halfway through 2018 and said ‘it would be great for you to come back it would be ideal if you took over from me at some stage, no promises, but it would be a great situation for us so let’s try and work towards that’.

Remember around that time there were rumours of him and another ex Eagles ex wife.

That part seems more reasonable for him leaving than those rumours lol
