A Port win would be huge for us, and it couldn't be going worse right now. They look absolutely shell shocked.

Have to say, the Cats have been terrific this season. Dealt a really tough draw, navigated it well, dealt with plenty of injuries. Very impressive thus far.

Yep

Geelong have really snuck under the radar this year.

Can't believe they're 5th favourites for the flag TBH.

I reckon they should just about be favourites if they win tonight.

Even pushed us all the way at home in front of a hostile crowd in an arm wrestle without Selwood and Ablett.

They've done very well covering for injuries and adapting to the fixture changes. Depth has stood up.

Having just praised the Cats I’ll also add - holy **** does any team appeal for free kicks as consistently as Geelong? Every player on every stoppage go the full wingspan appeal. Ugly as sin.

Cats playing well but bought their own umpires, umps absolutely refuse to pay a kick against them, drop it, throw it, push in the back, dontworryaboutit.

The line between what is ‘ugly, overly congested, hard to watch football’ and what is ‘relentless pressure, desperation by a team that wants it more’ is very difficult to see for me.

Half time pump up crowning Geelong champions of the world for their frenetic waves of scrappy pressure in tight. Any other day, maybe depending on the club, we’d be having an inquiry into the state of the game and gee hasn’t footy been ruined.

The line between when these ex-players fawn over it and when they slam it is very blurry to me.
