There's a few you can pin point who cost them.
-Hoskin-Elliot doesn't lay a shepherd on Cripps, Cripps is able to pressure the kick of Treloar that leads to the turn over.
-Tom Langdon after Ryan takes the mark lays on the ball to try and delay the game. Ryan knocks it out from under him and is able to play on and get it up field. Langdon gets to his feet quickly, makes Ryan go back behind the mark and it could have easily been different.

And the big question-
Who was Dom Sheeds man that let him run loose of the play and be on his own in the forward 50? Rewatching the match, I think it was Scott Pendlebury

I know. No commentator ever raises the question as to why Sheed and Rioli were against only one Collingwood opponent. No commentator ever raises the question as to why Darling was alone in the goal square. So many Collingwood players in the last five minutes were refusing to run and pick up their West Coast Eagles opponent. When he committed the original COVID breach, he left his misso in the hub with their child while he was banging on Harbrow's door wanting to be let in (Harbrow refused to let him in ).

The Melbourne board was saying his misso came back to WA with their child last week. It sounds like he may not be welcome with the misso at the moment.

Yeah. I think Geelong post 2011 have blown more chances. Finished top 2 in 2013, 2016, 2017 and 2019 and haven't won a flag. Plus losing 4 preliminary finals in 7 years. It's always harder to win out of Perth.
