This also gave me a chance for the first time to compare an ISC wings side by side with a Puma wings.
The puma colours are definitely slightly deeper (however my puma guernsey is from 2014 so it might’ve faded in the wash by now). But the ISC colours have definitely improved since the first batch was produced.

The wings on the back of these new jumpers are just aweful. Not sure how they passed the checks (assuming someone did check them before they were given the ok) like the HJs on the front though, at least they’ve got something right!!

Maybe Puma own the rights to the old wings? Not sure, they’re not great though.
That being said, they look much worse when the guernseys are laid out flat. When the guernsey is being worn they’re not as bad.

The front looks fine, just the way they wrap around the back, bit to horizontal, need to dip down a little more

Yeah original ones way better. But then I’m all about the old school 90s stuff so I’m slightly biased!

Did you get a shipping notification?
Retails for 2019 will have the gold AFL logo, yeah? I would rather one of those. That premiers logo doesn't do it for me.
Don’t reckon all the retails will have the gold logo. Will most likely be a special release with the gold logo, limited number, then the others will be normal red logo. That’s my guess anyway.
All 2019 retails should come with the gold logo. I don't see why they'd do a limited number, when in the past all premiers retail guernseys have all had the gold logo.
The only exceptions I can think of are training guernseys.
Was wondering the same thing - I haven't got a notification yet, and mine should have been one of the first sent (can't order much earlier than grand final night!)

I would expect the gold logo on the 2019 retail jumpers as heaps of people would buy them just for that - and the Eagles would never miss an opportunity to make money.

Yeah good point. I see all of Richmond’s had it on this year. I remember one year, the hawks had it as a special edition thing, and charged more for it (120 from memory) and then all their other guernseys had the normal red logo. Clubs must not be doing it that way anymore
