What a joke haha

Only one friday night match and mostly sunday games, not really what I prefer in a draw. Opponent wise it's not too bad, playing some lower sides twice. First 8 games in Melbourne. Only have to travel to Subi once, Adelaide once and to the gabba and skilled stadium.

Do we ask to play some home games at Telstra Dome? Or do the AFL make us play some there? I'd rather them all at the G.

Apart from that nothing to complain about.
The AFL were forcing the club to play 2/3 home games (at a loss at the time) there so the club did a deal to play 4 to at least make some money out of it. I'd prefer to be allowed to play home games at your home ground of choice. Also, Adl and P. Adl would be keen to play at the MCG, I'm sure a deal could be done to get that to happen (once the Dome deal ends).

Great draw.

Based on recent years, we'll be 5 and 3 after round 8 (the 5 being say Hawks; Dogs; Freo; Carl; Coll) just to tease our cox and get the membership numbers (not to mention hopes) up.

Then the annual reality check can start with a trip to the Gabba Rd 9.

Poor results and crowd numbers over the last few season is the principle reason why we have only 1 friday night game. No way this will improve until we do.

Happy with the draw overall although a few more Saturday matches would have been a better outcome.

3 interstate games.... big thumbs up :)

very ********ed off man i am, as i play soccer all day on sundays so i will miss out big time next year but very happy with 3 interstate  :)

Only 9 games at the MCG our home ground, what a joke
3 interstate games, a rare good point,
a trip to Geelong, why
1 Friday night game, easy to see the AFL hate us

IT'S UP TO US TO FIGHT FOR A BETTER DEAL
IN FUTURE DRAWS.

The draw is the best we can hope for after recent seasons. Good to see a minimum of interstate matches - one of our biggest weaknesses is winning on the road. Not keen on all these Sundays.

Round 10 - Friday, 27th May
Melbourne vs. Richmond at Telstra Dome (Night)

thats gotta be a first they always play at the mcg

What a joke. We play our last MCG game of the year in Round 16. After that we go to adelaide, perth, the spitdome and geelong.
We'd better be at least 10 wins by then or were no hope.
Lets look at our home games.
Geelong, Fremantle, Port Adelaide, Carlton, West Coast, Adelaide, Sydney, Essendon, St.Kilda, Bulldogs, Hawthorn.
We'll have only 2 games that will be big crowds and good to the pocket-Carlton and Essendon. We won't get much out of anything else(we seem to offer saints a home game privelidge for their tassie matches).
Overall we'll be lucky to get 20000 members and will record another huge loss Thanks AFL for nothing

I dont now- you traditionally get big crowds against Carlton and Essendon.

But over the last 20 years you have always got a great crowd against Hawthorn.

If both teams are around 10th or 11th youll easilly get 45 000 to that game.

Our draw is the same as the 2nd and 3rd biggest co tenants of the MCG, I think its a disgrace how we both only get 3 friday night games between us while Melbourne-the smallest co tenant gets 3 friday night games!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps if we'd won a few games this year we might have been "rewarded" by the AFL. So blame the sorry bunch of players we had this year, not the league.

There's a first, someone blaming our crappy players for playing crappilly (think that has two l's), and not our gooba coach for coaching gooberly!!!

Sorry Balmain, have to disagree with you on a few points.

I think the draw is fantastic for us. We are in the process of rebuilding not only the squad, but the whole club, and therefore, probably would struggle to draw the big crowds anyway.

Another thing, I am extremely confident that we will have more members than this year. We have finally got ourselves a coach, and supporters can finally see that the club is taking the long and hard road to achieving success.

IMO, there is not a more exciting time to be a member of the Tiger Army!
