When you look deep down at it, St.Kilda's overall record is abysmal. Just over 38% win rate is little more than 1 in 3, or in a season roughly 8 wins out of 22 for the season. Only defunct clubs Brisbane Bears and University are worse, and that rate is a lot of standard deviations away from an 'average' record of 50/50.

And to put Carlton's recent 'success' into context, Carlton have lost 111 times from 2001-2007. That is almost exactly 1/8 of all their defeats in their previous 104 seasons. Overall they have lost 886 games for all time.

Go back through the record books and my signature will give you the answer.. I know they don't like opening books in the west but you'll find this a very informative exercise :p

Perhaps that may be Collingwood, since the AFL officially became such that season.

Great link thanks.

Interesting to see the scum dogs are still bellow Fitzroy, who have been out for 11 years now.

ALSO

There is the proof Richmond>>>>>>>Hawthorn

I thought we had solved the debate that hawthorn is superior to your Bitch's? We admit, we were shocking in our early years, however, since the league became more of a profession rather than a hobby, HAwthorn is a much better side.

Ok MrSuperThanksForAsking, how hard is it to list your club then?

As for the first premiership the VFA was a stronger comp then it's pretty weak to compare it to say Geelong's win last year. Hell my team beat yours for champions of Victoria in 1924. :p

Yes you have a very proud history of one single premiership :p

And ps.. I think unlisted has won more flags than your club :)
