You can thank Terry and Miller for that draft clanger among many. A long trail of disaster. It's draft decisions like these that probably explain why the Tiges have given up on the draft and player development, and instead have resorted to the desperate top-up/recycled recruiting option, and extended the playing years of the should-have-been-retired types. Hence the 2009, 6 31yo+ situation. It's a recipe for disaster, especially with the draft restrictions over the next several years, although I guess you could argue that you'd probably waste any top-picks you got anyway.

Personally I think the thread should remain until Round 1, similar to Madtiger's All Things Carlton vs Richmond, created at a similar time last year, which lasted through til round 1. Otherwise I'll strongly suggest one of the Richmond mods create and sticky one on our board. Except if that went ahead, it would be more risky for Carlton to take part, due to the Richmond board factor. Wouldn't it be great for ya's to a) hold the whip hand in regard to carding
and
b) Be the focal point in all things Richmond vs Carlton?

And 30 year old has been who hasn't played the game for a year who is expected to save your club is?

That's my point. There is very little future for Cousins. Players rarely play past 32-34. I'd take a player who hasn't shown much over a player who has very little left to give any any of the week.
