Sometimes with these kids, they don't want to look too happy coz looking like you DGAF looks cool.

Here's our 2009 batch. Kid at the front there looks miserable.

Pretty obvious sign you’ll be a spud and won’t make it. See the kid on the very left? Huge smile. Surprised he hasn’t won a Brownlow yet tbh

Could be onto something here, the Crows didn't smile during the anthem & look how that turned out....

2017 we ranked 6th for age & 7th for games played. 2018 it's 11th for age & 10th for games played. The Premiership side just got a fair bit younger.

Also ranked 8th for on field smiles and 5th for off field smiles (but 7th before the Grand Final). So this list still has a lot of improvement in it.
