After the PF last year and seeing the palpable joy in the Tiger army I couldn't begrudge them a flag. I'll never forget the busload of women on a party bus that parked in Jollimont Avenue and tried to hug everyone leaving the ground. I have history with SA footy and still backed the Crows, but was less prejudiced.

It was similar after the SF Saturday night. The Magpies supporters were very, very happy and it would be petty to begrudge them success. We're driven by our experiences.

My natural tendency is to support WC to win the flag though.

Tough one. On one hand, Richmond are the best team right now and the Grand Final needs them and if West Coast or Melbourne want the premiership then they're going to need to beat Richmond at the MCG on the day for it!

Collingwood though, would be a nice change and would make the Grand Final a lot more unpredictable. Plus they've been a good story all year and they have some likeable players and I actually think they're one of the better clubs in the league. I don't understand the common perception that everyone hates them. Ask the average footy fan why they hate Collingwood and most of them will say "I don't know, everyone else does".

I have a feeling that this is going to be just the like the Geelong vs Collingwood PF in 2007, and I think I'm slightly leaning towards Collingwood but either way, I just hope it's a great game that gets talked about for a very long time.
