No, don’t agree with that, need to do more than lay a hand on them. You can’t chose to bounce the ball once tackled, but if you bounce the ball and then get an ineffectual tackle like that laid it’s play on. Had no problem with the call from the ump. I did have a problem with the piss poor tackle effort.

I'd rather have the VFL team there. I can't see any positives in not having them playing - plenty in having them playing though.

With no vfl team the club will lose half the atmosphere during the week as vfl team is not playing

Hunger and enthusiasm around is gone as players can fight for a spot in the vfl

Even small things like afl player attending the vfl games creating unity is gone. Everyone spoke about this last year. It all helps.

Demons still have their vfl side next week it is much preferred to have that dont you think?
