The more I look at Gold Coast's team, the less I hate ours.

Seems like we're going for the "no mid-sized forwards" strategy. You're either a tall campaigner, or you're small and fast. Either way, we can exploit their defenders.

Really like the line up.

Yze taking a look at some fringe players in real game time, before we bring in Martin Nank & Lynch next week.

This is what a lot of people wanted to see, a rejuvenation of the line up and kids getting a shot. It's something for Yze to build from as he and the coaches get a better understanding of how players fit into the game plan.

Not fussed about the result, even if it goes pear shaped, it's the first game under a new coach and game plan. What I really want to see from the team is a better execution of the game plan than what we saw against the Pies once they got their game going.

Buckle up folks and get ready for the ride, I reckon it's going to be a great one.

How about playing tresize, cumbo, brown or steely who have actually shown something and deserve a crack.

Have followed the preseason closely and fail to see how MRJ, Cumberland, Banks and Ryan have shown enough to warrant selection. MRJ and Cumberland have only managed 1+1/2 qtrs of reasonable football and both Ryan and Banks looked lost in their appearances. We can only hope the coaches and selectors have seen enough during the buildup to the scratch and practice matches that justifies their selections. Whatever happens it is unlikely we will be active come finals so I guess we have little to loose other than the four points.
