Just play the kid. He has an AFL-ready body and played against men all last year. With Frampton's form, what is there to lose?
Continuity.

nope. Let’s wait for him to put together a couple of solid forward performances in the sanfl (despite that being an impossible task for a forward in our snafl team at the moment).....
Sometimes with players you just have to read if they are mentally ready, if they aren’t their confidence can take a huge hit and set them back.Has to play. Watching Logan McDonald start the season the way he has.. I see no reason why not to pick him.
He's plenty confidentSometimes with players you just have to read if they are mentally ready, if they aren’t their confidence can take a huge hit and set them back.
Not knowing the lad can’t say if this applies to him or not, but good coaches can read that

1cm taller but move like a midfielder and can kick on his opposite foot is a deal maker.Too tall for the modern game. 1cm taller than Frampton is a deal breaker

It's a fair point you raise, I mean during the first half Friday he was very frustrated onfield and when coming to the bench. Can certainly understand why he was, but it didn't look great. That's my concern. Not "could he contribute any less than Frampton", but more what happens if we pick him when he's out of form and he comes in and has a stinker? Is that going to dent his mindset, will the hit to his confidence set his progress back? I'd much rather he kick the door in and force them to pick him.
What happens then if he kicks the door down in the SANFL comes in and (could just as easily) has a stinker. That's my concern. Personally I'd like to see both Worrell and Thilthorpe play.I don't think we need to rush him. I think he'll get some form in the Sanfl before too long and in that case I think he'll be a good chance.
Worrell is the one who needs to be found a place asap.
There's not a better game to blood both. Playing with a better team than the SANFL side should show how good they are.Personally I'd like to see both Worrell and Thilthorpe play.
What if he was like 100 cm taller and roamed around as a 9' tall giant weighing 400 kilos.Too tall for the modern game. 1cm taller than Frampton is a deal breaker
The problem with that is Frampton might have a good game this week. If he kicks 3 goals and takes a few grabs then how can he be left out?I reckon he is more likely to play against Freo.
Home game, all family can be there.
Bit like Nic Nat then? What if he was like 100 cm taller and roamed around as a 9' tall giant weighing 400 kilos.
Still too tall probably.
