South Australians making fun of Tasmanians ... love it. Always find SA residents a BARREL of laughs. Amazed that you can keep a sense of humour seeing you live in dust bowl truck stop that gets it water from the end of a salty sewage pipe. But yeah, I don't know any SA people that appear inbred ...

And yet they'd be considered good looking blokes down there.

Hey guys sorry for the intrusion, I heard the news Thilthorpe is in, got him on my supercoach side.

I haven't been following his form in the 2's, how has he been going?

He's been ok. Showed some nice signs with his movement, below the knees he's really clean, has been involved defensively and when he's been thrown around the ball, he's got involved. His biggest issue has just been our SANFL side hasn't clicked that he isn't 5 m tall, and he's playing for our SANFL side which at the moment is one of the worst SANFL teams around (which is fair enough, injuries + we're rebuilding).

Hopefully a few glimpses against Hawthorn for the young sprout.

Have also got him in my supercoach team so am keen to see him do well. Surely he has been tearing it up in the 2s to warrant selection?
Not really to be honest. Our SANFL side only has like 10 AFL listed players and 1-2 midfielders. Fair to say they are rubbish and the delivery into the forward 50 is putrid

Struggled as a fwd due to half the team being top up players and had no flow to our game.

Once he moved onto a wing he found a lot more of the footy and put his skills on display.

I personally wouldnt pick him for a Fantasy/Supercoach team unless he is playing on a wing.

Bottom our left looks like a cross between Jeff Kennett and Norman Gunston.

Tex is injured, Himmelberg is out of favour with the coaches and Frampton is absolutely useless. The bar is set super low so Thilthorpe doesn't need to be tearing it up to get a guernsey.

(We also aren't like Geelong where you need to be geriatric to get a game)

Interesting that Logan McDonald has just been dropped by Sydney. ;) The pick 2 debate can restart!

I don't bother myself with that kind of stuff tbh. Would be happy for Thilthorpe to just be a solid KPF. Would go along way to easing my fears about our recruiters shitting their pants in the first round.

As may be indicated by my avatar, I have a bit to do with Tas. In fact I describe myself as a gypsy, having lived in four Australian States and across the dutch (NZ). Some people live in the past regrading Tasmania. It is a boom State atm, with Hobart's housing market going through the roof and people moving to Tas from everywhere. Hobart is a pretty, arty, laid back city and Tasmania as a whole is flourishing with many boutique small industries and plenty of arts and crafts. The scenery is incredible and unspoilt (get away from the tourism brochures and actually explore the South West eg places like Strathgordon, doing Scotts Peak Road on the way and stay at Pedder Wilderness Lodge, or as found a bit more on the brochures visit Queenstown and Strahan and do the Wilderness Railway and Gordon River Cruise), with people from all over the world knowing about Tas through documentaries on wildlife and many wanting to visit (international tourism was booming pre COVID). We know as when we did a huge overseas trip through about 17 counties two and a half years ago we were amazed that nearly everyone knew about Tasmania because of the wildlife doco's. Unfortunately it is also road kill capital of the world.

Congrats Tilly, I bet he is glad he is debuting in Tassie, at least the weather looks good for Sunday
Exciting to see

Himmelberg, 10 marks last game, and zippo, where is he at ?
He must have ran over every coaches dog in the off season
Himmelberg a bit stiff in my opinion. I think it may be worth also developing him down back as a key position defender to add yet another string to his bow.
