One of the greatest St Kilda people passed away overnight, a true gentleman, mentor to many, father, motivator and fabulous recruiter, who was for many years a one man band at under resourced St Kilda. He knocked back so many offers from other clubs over the time.
Was swimming laps at Waves up until recently.
RIP Johnny B, you will be missed but not forgotten.

Does anyone know when Beveridge first came to St Kilda? I have read some articles on the internet which state he fist arrived at St Kilda in 1965 as a statistician. There are other reports that he first arrived at St Kilda in 1982 to begin his recruiting position. Was he at St Kilda in any capacity in 1965? Would he have been with the club when you won the flag in 1966?
