A ganmain vs coolamon GF. Its what dreams are made of. The crowd and gate should be the biggest ever recorded in RFL history. The game will be a cracker, young sam milne vs adam mckenzie should be great on the big wings of narrandera, i heard it was a good battle at coolamon 2 weeks ago. Big olsen on keenan and the other midfield battles will also be great.

Then talk about forward lines and backlines for both sides and its just going to be a nail biter. hope its a 30 plus degree day because i know the lions would have done all the hard work leading into finals on the track and am tipping them to win it.

Mitch steele to get best on. This bloke is argubly the best player in the comp. If he ever had a red hot crack he could of made AFL.

Robinson has had it over steele for a while now
 
no head its not steeley, the bloke is not capable of using a computer hes a deadbeat. any suggestions on margins and bogs for each grade?

Just wondering what type (inside/outside) Sam Milne is rookie2; strengths and weaknesses?
I guess the question is will he be able to handle the bodies of Chamberlain, Maddox, Archibald & Munro flying through the midfield, or is he more of an outside player that won't be likely near the bodies.

Just wondering also Rookie2 how Ganmain will handle the hoppers forward line when Hard, Keenan, Brown & Edyvean are down there.

Can a coolamon rep confirm whether or not John Nolan is likely to play as well. Also curious as to the likely matchups on Hamblin (Nolte?), Macri (Chatfield?), Kelly (Neyland?) & Steele (Robinson)?

we will find out at about 5pm sunday arvo rise above. both teams have match winners on everyline. And both spines are very, very good.

steele has been a ganmain loyal player since the whipper snappers played auskick eastlakes rule.

im tipping ganmain by 1 point in a cracker. M.Steele BOG as stated before.

Mango by 10 points in the ressies. R.Cohalan BOG

Tigers in the 17s. Ted Fellows BOG.

By all accounts the farrar grand final was also a big hit. The gate and crowd was a record. Lets hope that its the same for the RFL. Great for footy and netball in the area.

nolan played 1s on the weekend didnt he,either way he will be in action as the 2s are playing aswell

Kelly would have to play in the backline to contain coolamons height, neyland v travis carrol ? ?

Come on rookie2, get off the fence. Doesn't matter if you're wrong just give us your opinion. Tell us how you think milne plays and how he'll go amongst bigger bodies. Word is that Milne is too quick and smart for anyone to get near him. A similar type to young Luke Habel? Do you think Marc Kelly will play forward or back?

HitnMiss, do Coolamon reserves have a backup ruckman for Nolan if he plays in the firsts? And what do you think, should Coolamon play 3 ruckmen at Narrandera?

Also just wondering RFL Ressies, do Mango reserves have a main ruckman and if so will Nolan's presence or non-presence in the reserves make a big difference?

not sure what ruck stock the coolamon 2s have left if nolan doesnt play..from what i heard he played well on the weekend so hes probably likely to play again

Milne loves the tough stuff and will have no problem at all with the bigger bodies if the situation presents itself. BUt he is also quick and smart enough to get around them. Marc Kelly will play back. Like he has for the majority of the past 2 years.

Nolan has spent the past month in first grade hasn't he? So Coolamon reserves must be used to him not being there. And Mango have young Cameron Bailey in the ruck in the 2s i think. Played a few 1s games this year. Big fella, has ability but very green.

Nolan played against us at Leeton in finals week 1 due to Coolamon having the week off but apart from that has been playing 1s.. MCUE have 2 ruckman both with 1st grade experience!! Also rise above if Nolan plays 2s he would be hard to stop in the ruck as he will be in the 1s as he is taller than everyone by an inch

This time of the year fresh legs are important. But old heads in finals are good. First Gf in yrs that both teams have claims. Close game Grasshoppers 11pts.
As for the Ressies.............. A nil all draw goes into extra time only for Mango to lose when Coolamon call for a head count to find that Mango have 36 on the ground.;)
 
Good to see 3 evenly balanced finals on sunday, weather conditions will be interesting rain forecast. Coolamon to scrape home in ressies if some decent umpires take the field, mango scraggers will take full advantage if umpires don't pick them up. Turvey in Under 17s in what should be another high standard under age game.

Ist Grade - Ganmains pace will be too much for Coolamon, expect the Hoppers to choke yet again. Lions by 22.

2nd grade - Who really cares? Just a bit of time before the 1's to get a few beers into ya.

3rds - Tigers have been by far the best team all year. Tigers by 40.
