I saw your comment in this thread not long ago, but I let it go. Are you inferring that I am running some sort of scam?

Not sure what your issue is with me / my site, but if you don't want to use it then don't.

I am providing more analysis than something you get in a winning post/herald sun form guide. They charge for it.. Are they in the same boat

I'm not selling my tips per se (my top selections still appear on the website). Its my form analysis and the other stuff that comes with my premium form that makes it "worth the money".

I feel if you talk to the people that have bought my form then they would be pretty happy. I have always explained my selections and have passed on any info I get.

Its sad that you would come onto a public forum and have a crack at me when:
A) You don't know me and what I have been doing
B) You haven't bought my form to see what it is like
C) If you talk to the people who have bought my form I'd like to think the majority are happy with what they have got so far...

I'm not sure why you have a massive chip on your shoulder over this, but whatever.

I don't subscribe to Rizzo's product but only because I gain more satisfaction trying to read my own form and picking a winner (or much more often a loser) than following someone elses form and tips. Having said that I certainly would be expected to be charged if I was to receive this product. It obviously takes a hell of a lot of work.

People can choose whether to punt or not. People can also choose whether to subscribe to Rizzo's Best Bets.

If that's what it comes down to at the end of the day and the selections supposedly make a loss that can only be recovered through providing a service for paid subscribers - what does that say about those forking out the dosh in the first place?! A fool and his money....?

There's nothing wrong providing the premium form which rizzo is doing.
He enjoys horse racing/punting, he already does the hard yards looking at a meeting a day, justifying and narrowing down the field to selected chances and then providing a suggested way to outlay cash on the race. Every race. If he wants to keep the rated cards closer to his chest and people then want to pay to see those cards - there's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing in 'the rules' which says that he has to give us all his thoughts for free. His 'service' still offers his top selection in each race for free (like many on this forum), he doesn't doctor results, he doesn't push a wagon hard to get subscribers or flood the forum begging people to join and it's not exactly costing subscribers an arm and a leg.

I highly doubt that any of the subscribers put money on every horse, in every race, in every bet type that is suggested. However, having that service to sort out races, a guide that's better than any non-horse racing publication (HS, Age etc) (and for some people it's easier to get their heads around than traditional form guides), perhaps those wanting a second opinion or even a lead on a race that someone can't be bothered doing the form for and just wants to drop some cash on a race - the service is harmless, it's not a 'get rich, quick' scheme and not even close to being advertised as such.

How is it meant to turn pear shaped? If people aren't happy after trialling the service for a little while, they won't pay for it again. The customer took the punt, they didn't like it, Rizzo loses customer base and maybe reputation - but no-one loses their life savings (or if they do, they had a problem long before rizzo)

Rizzo found a niche, doing what he was already/loves to do but people are also willing to pay for this guide without expecting the world - good on him. You're being way too harsh, Sherlock.

He is do nothing different to a lot of other tipping services who charge for their selections (expertform etc). Unlike those services though he is doing all of this work outside of his own working hours, a feat which should be acknowledged. Yeah sometimes his a bit off the ball (horses aren't machines), but he sure makes up for it with plenty of value winners $10-$20 plus.

And he has samples of his form on the site so you can see exactly what you are getting in for. Can't imagine anyone going in thinking it is a get rich quick scheme

Its actually a good question by dutchy even though he is attacking the site full on like an azy and thats not cool as he has no reason too. To answer his question though there is 2 things required to be a succesful punter. One is to be a knowledgable form analyst which is hard enough these days with so many races. Having the right info is only half the battle because if you dont punt smart you will lose money in the long run. On top of that, with the amount of corporate bookies and more importantly betfair which will takeover punting soon, why wouldnt you want to sell your information if your a succesful analyst since it wont affect your price if you are betting your own selections. Id be interestd to hear your reply.

Rizzo's website is a great tool for when you do you form. As he said he is giving more in depth analysis than both major newspapers combined. It's always good to here another persons opinion and he been around for a while so he knows what he is doing.
