What about if your a home reserved seat holder but not away? Does anyone know?
away general or just home?

Away general will probably be $0
Home only will have to purchase with Public and there will be a cost.

I doubt it will get that far though

Maybe but i dont agree. No point playing a bloke for a qtr here or there if he is in the frame for a game come round 1 - next cab off the ranks but dont see how they all of a sudden get a gig ahead of those that played most if not all of both practice games. Its not as if we blooded any guys for the sake of it knowing they werent going to play round 1 - both were basically best 22 picked
Good points.

Well Jack was picked, I'd be shocked if he gets dropped.
I suppose Gibbo could get the 23rd man sub spot, but we're not dropping Fisher/Martin/Murphy/Fogarty to squeeze him in.

I'll be really interested to see how The Fog of War goes ... only knock I have so far is he cant kick more than 40 meters.

So, likely

B: Doc, Jones, Plow
HB: Samo, Weiters, Saad
C: Setterfield, Cripps, Newnes
HF: Martin, Harry, Murphy
F: Jack, Levi, Fish
Foll: Pitto, Walsh, Ed

Bench: Williamson, Dow, Fogarty, Cunners
Sub: LOB

Yeah, pretty well sums it up. I'm assuming the coaches like him for a specific job and prefer that reliability to someone with a bit more flash.

Doc, Jones, Plow
Saad, Weiters, SPS
Setters, Walsh, Willo
Pittonet, Cripps, Curnow
Martin, Casboult, Murphy
Betts, McKay, Fisher
I/C: Dow, Fogarty, XXXX, XXXX

Who does that leave for the last two spots?

I'd probably have, in order of preference - Newnes, Silvagni, Cunners, Gibbons, LOB, Kennedy.

You can pencil in SOJ. They will reward his form and we need a capable third tall. Grimes will run rampant otherwise.

I have Newnes, Gibbons and Cuners rounding out your 22 (23). Not convinced Eddie is in.

With Harry being a bit suspect and if the 23rd man comes in, does O-Mac get the fluro top (you know they need a fluro top on so we know he is the 23rd man and doesnt just run on....)

I don’t think Harry is suspect
Names should mean fit to play

Great to see Fog named. Didn't particularly stand out through the preseason games but I think he'll be a better player for us than many are expecting.

I had him in my best side but as one of the handful fighting it out for the remaining couple of spots in the 22.

With news of his inclusion, my updated 22 is:

B: Plowman - Jones - Docherty
HB: Saad - Weitering - SPS
C: Newnes - Curnow - Setterfield
HF: Martin - Casboult - Murphy
F: Fisher - McKay - Silvagni
R: Pittonet - Cripps - Walsh
INT: Dow - Williamson - Fogarty - ??

LOB, Eddie, Cuningham, Gibbons, OMac fighting it out for the last spot.

AFL: let put in these rules to tire the players out and slow the game down (reduce interchange, make more open and running style)

Also AFL: lets bring in a sub to help make things easier on the players and coaches to avoid overworking players in the case of injury.

Bloody want things both ways. [insert angry Simmo gif]
It's specifically for concussion, isn't it? It encourages teams to treat head injuries far more cautiously, and just sub them out based on the observed physical contact, rather than symptom set.

Delayed onset concussion is very much a thing, and reflects the ongoing stress on the body as you roam around with subclinical neurological damage.

I think, based on praccy games, Newnes and JSOS - both played 8 qtrs (if i remember correctly). Cunners might get a gig if they want an extra mid to take Williams spot.

Gibbons, LOB and Kennedy zero chance imo
Pretty sure Newnes sat out at least one quarter of the Saints game.

So, likely

B: Doc, Jones, Plow
HB: Samo, Weiters, Saad
C: Setterfield, Cripps, Newnes
HF: Martin, Harry, Murphy
F: Jack, Levi, Fish
Foll: Pitto, Walsh, Ed

Bench: Williamson, Dow, Fogarty, Cunners
Sub: LOB
I really want to swap LOB for Newnes, but otherwise I'd be thrilled with that team. I think O'Brien can create a lot more high quality opportunities in our forward 50 than Newnes, without compromising our defensive run in midfield.

Spot on IMO. Only Williams, Charlie and TDK missing from the certified best 22 (huge outs, however). We'll need to be at our best, and Tiges will need to be off, but this game is winnable (as long as Harry gets through the game).
