I don't think this is quite right. I see him as a Josh Kennedy type who has just been starved of midfield minutes.

By Round 3 we could have Docherty, Kemp , Walsh and Stocker back with Motlop and Carroll knocking on the door.

No room for Ed, Plow, Young, Dow ATM and not sure how we squeeze Honey when he's back. Cunners and Marchbank too.

I would like to think that Newnes is way down the order.

Alot of people missing Kemp in their round 1 teams. Just remember he was picked in the saints game and missed due to soreness. Could either be starting forward instead of TDK or bench/sub.

Still think the biggest difference will be the addition of Cerra and Hewett. 2 full time mids who you can reply on week in week out to play consistently good footy for 4 quarters. We've only ever had Cripps and Walsh as the 2 reliable mids. And now we have 4.

Only injuries would stop Kennedy from becoming top grader this year. Will kick plenty of goals from midfield too.

Hi Folks,
Is Lachlan Fogarty in the frame for selection, or has he slipped down the order?

I am a fan, however.....

Only had limited game time in the pre season but made an impact when there......
Hard to see where he fits with the improvement of Fish, LOB and Durdin seemingly cementing a spot Rd. 1.(and rightly so fitness pending)

I personally would have him ahead of Owies.(And Setters for that matter)

Can play on ball, gun tackler and gets more of the ball than some others.
Is a smart footballer, very quick with hands , pretty good by foot and around goals plus has a red hot crack.

He will be in the side at some stage . Rd. 1 ?....pre season would say no.

Even though they are different players I have a feeling we will only see one or the other in round 1. Think it comes down to how confident we are that the Pittonett / silvagni combo can take on the tigers rucks.

Will be interesting to see how we balance all 5 once fully fit. Most teams have 4 guys that take the majority of centre bounces. I think Cerra and Walsh rotate onto a wing at times while Kennedy spends more time at half forward. Something like.

Cripps (70% onball / 15% forward / 15% bench)
Hewett (70% onball / 15% wing / 15% bench)
Walsh (60% onball / 25% wing / 15% bench)
Cerra (50% onball / 35% wing / 15%bench)
Kennedy (50% onball / 35% forward / 15% bench)

Lots of versatility, and hard at it. Has the attributes Voss will love
