Commentary is 80% about Richmond

This is how it's always been and we used to be the benificiary of this too. The team expected to lose gets gassed up to keep their supporters watching. It's the same as the fake hype when a games over but BT reckons the next goal is important etc. Just hype the underdog to keep the fans hopeful / interested. Winning team is gonna get their dues.

Feels like we’re playing within ourselves, trying to expend the least amount of energy as possible. Would like to see us come out in the 3rd with some killer intent and put a gap between us.

It’s just going to be one of those days like the Adelaide game where they kick at 95% for goal and we’ll need to overcome that.

It's a ****ing joke. They ignore blatant holds on Carlton players, but look at a Richmond player sideways and it's a free.

Dunno why, but late career Nankervis is umpired completely differently than early career Nankervis. Where the bloke used to concede frees all over the ****ing place, these days umps keep ****ing giving them to him when he initiates contact, gets in the other ruck's face, blocks, lands on someone's back or collects them round the head.

It's mindblowing, and it doesn't make sense.

Badly missing DeKoning.

Richmond just all over the lose 50 50 ball. Just quicker or better positioned, I don't know.

I think we aren't switched on like we should be. Lapses where we didn't apply pressure. Too many fumbling the footy. Dropped marks. Ball handling is down.

We'd be disappointed with the defensive intercepts against us.

I'm seeing Walsh putting his body in and applying pressure and bugger all from everyone else in there.

We have been ok, not great.

We need to tidy up a few things, I’m under no illusion that we are suddenly going to gap every side every quarter, Tigers to their credit have brought the heat.

Cerra has looked very good. Midfield synergy a bit off with Pitt in there instead of TDK.

Unfortunately most commentators are there to get themselves over rather than offer any sort of insite to the game
at hand.

They get 2 x goals from free kicks in the centre, 1 from a Carlton mistake and 1 from a luck deflection out of the pack.


If we can get some consistency with the umpires that would be great.

No need to worry 6-7 goal win coming up.

O.Hollands, Kennedy, Boyd, Kemp & Pittonet need to step up. Alot of poor disposal or not fulfilling their role in the team.

Positives, Harry and Charlie haven't got going at all and Cincotta is limiting the impact on Vlastuin. He isn't being allowed to intercept mark.

A few cheap goals their way. Would love to see us make them earn it a bit more.

Not as efficient going forwards as we've been the last few weeks. Need to get a few more shots in high percentage areas. Harry taking a shot from the point of the 50 was frustrating.
