Hmm

Crowds will be minimal for the rest of the year

Personally they need to take everyone they want to keep off for surgery or a rest and just lay down for the balance of the season.

We will get flogged by the teams we have coming up anyway.

Cue in the rack. Full reveiw. Aggressive trading g. Reset and go.

Horse isn't the problem. We've just got too many kids who are getting beaten 1-on-1. They need more time and games. Sure this year might be done, but another pre-season into most of them, and they'll start to come good.

you guys are acting like it's the end of the world, but a dip had to come sometime given the list turnover and the injuries we've had.

Our midfield is getting destroyed week in week out...when was the last time we controlled the middle....it pisses me off no end that week in week out opposition can run and set up from a contest and all we can muster is blind bombs forward

RIP 2018. The only other game I see us having a chance is against the Dees and that is just as likely to be a 100 point flogging.

Time to accept that this is not a good team. Kennedy and Parker are good but lack support. Heeney should be a star but hasn't developed that consistency yet. Franklin isn't 100%. Rampe seems off the boil.

Literally our best player in the last month is Aliir. And that says a lot given he only just got back in the team.

Longmire is increasingly looking like the wrong sort of coach for this list. He'll stay on because it's only one season but the gameplan hasn't changed much from 5 years ago, even as the list has.
No, I think we have 2 more years of this crap. 2020.

Some very uncharacteristic brain-fades coupled with some unexpected kicking directly to the opposition when not under any pressure really has me shaking my head.

Your guys are normally very calm & sure with all of their ball movements even when under the pump, looked like they were panicking tonight.

I get to see the Swans' games quite regularly living in Sydney but what I saw tonight was not the team that I normally see. Can't offer any reasons as to why it went pear-shaped, just gotta hope they rally together in the run home.

If Jones gets rubbed out for that bump ….. gee, I don't know how players can attack the ball these days.

Look thoroughly disorganised and that's from a team who always played their role to a tee. No urgency. Poor defensive pressure.

We've been doing a rebuild on the fly but we're in a proper rebuild now.

Jones will 100%go for that

More of the same unfortunately. No fluency in our offense. Slow stagnant and always getting killed by the extra number the opposition have in defense.

Kick ins are predictable and conservative.

Beaten badly in the midfield. Thought Essendon were pretty ordinary in the first half hence we led for patches but couldn’t keep up with them after half time once their ball use improved and the speed of Smith, Fantasia etc. exposed use in defense.

As an aside Aliir was fantastic in a poor side.

Pick a young mid then don't play him there.
Picked 112-69 their way, we are ordinary ATM.
Won't make finals.
It's been a good ride.
Mids, mids, mids, mids, mids, mids.
MacCartin.
Punts, you see the free count.
FU Gil.
Put Buddy in an iodised spa for the year.
I'll say again, mids, mids, mids, heckin'g mids.
Allir

Also I hate to say "I told you so" (well sort of) but I have been saying the Swans needed to draft big bodied inside midfielders for about 2 years now. The inside 50 count shows just how bad our midfield is, and how it is not winning its own ball.

Feels like the end of an era can't see another win to finish the season which is depressing.

Happy to concede now with only AJ playing to hold any interest for the rest of the year.

Just about done with how much time I put into supporting when week in week out there isn't a level playing field with umpiring.

We could potentially get a few back for a last gasp effort but it's too late for those players to do anything other than improve us a bit but not make any difference for finals.

Ronke played like he supported Essendon. Hayward had a shocker along with Papley. We are going nowhere with Sinclair in the ruck. He goes ok around the ground but he just can't ruck. The young players have carried the team but run out of puff. The experienced players all look weathered, slow and sore.

Neuman jeepers see ya and Lloyd enjoy wherever you are going hope they don't give you kick out duties.

Mitch Brown played well in his role for the Bombers. They kept hitting him up on the lead. We didn’t seem to have a match up for him.

Rampe is probably ideal you’d expect but he’s in horrendous form at the moment.

icI’ll keep it to one post for you Troystenvic

- blaming lack of talent is a cop out, we just lost to a rubbish side of campaigners
- horse is done - lost the players, I wouldn’t sack him, but I’d ask him to resign end of year
- playing unfit players does
- 2018 is done- so rest bud etc
- dawson stays
- like mccartin
- everyone will be critical of jones - yep brain fades, but both overblown imo and he is a key player. At least he cares
- Aliir is awesome
- unfit buddy is still a good player- but don’t ruin him for the future

- losing sucks but especially to such a shit scum side who I just don’t respect, not even in the 8 but even their players act like they won the flag

Their fans **** me moronic at the ground. Umpired the game, still think they got a raw deal. Doubled our frees

We can’t be good every year, it’s not losing that annoys me as much as the way we are losing, wasting talent, playing scared, going backwards. Not going anywhere

But it’s just footy, sun comes up tomorrow, so don’t let it get you down , love the club but things need to change, no one is enjoying that

I respect diverse opinions, but defending horse now, it’s just blind loyalty wake up

Yeah he is. We have had a soft underbelly for years. Remember 2014 and 2016?
We aren't steel enough, that's the coaches problem.
