Well, the football gods made sure they rightly ****ed us over again with another injury to Libba as well as injuries to Macrae and Roughead.

With almost 1/2 the list unavailable it makes for a frustrating time. Say your bit, as long as you play the ball , not that man and don't circumvent the swear filter I think we'll be a little patient with our supporters tonight after the loss.

Despite the loss I think we can hold our heads high tonight. Think back 6 weeks ago to the first Cats game, at Etihad. We played twice the game tonight but the cards were never falling right.

Fantastic effort. Boyd played his best game for the club IMO, after such a tough month. Dunkley also very good. Bont continues to ooze class. Each game into Clay counts. Dahls slotted back ok.

Of course there are some negatives but at this stage in the season, with the run we've had recently, I think Bev's focus should be on all of the positives from tonight.

When you consider the week we had with 5 fresh injuries, plus the home crowd factor etc, we were always up against it - thats no excuse for a loss, but its a positive that we ended up within 4 goals.

What should have been the talking point - a match-winning performance by Boyd with 3 goals, a great influence on the game especially as he was unfairly targeted in the media - is not to be because of bloody injuries.

It isn't fair. This should have been our year.

Played out the vast majority of the game with 3 players on the bench and lost one of our prolific mids for the last quarter and yet Geelong still only won by 25 points.

Frustrating to the point that from very early in the season we were playing with our backs against the wall for a good majority of it.

Seriously, **** injuries. We finally look like a chance for the flag for the first time in forever, and it gets wrecked not through our own bad play, but through injuries.

**** this.

When does the time come when we question our fitness and medical staff, and stop putting it as bad luck? Seriously? If PG is bold enough to sack our CEO after one season. Than surely he has to ask some questions? Even for the blokes who have been down there for years.

And **** the Boyd haters. Was the best KPF on the ground tonight. Still looking forward the game where he gets the benefit of staying up forward all game like Hawkins does, instead of spending over 50% of the match in the ruck.

Not for the nuffies on the main board, they wouldn't know a great game from a 20yo KPF if it bit them on the dick.

1/2 of them lack a 3 digit IQ

Not sure what they can do about a twisted ankle, a broken leg and an
ACL...

Is the no opposition supporters really necessary? Seems a bit precious.

Pretty flat, but proud of the effort of the boys. Really dug deep.
Loved Tommy's game.

A lot of ****wits came into the gameday thread either talking shit about Boyd or going "does it shit you when the media talk about how brave you are in defeat?"

**** em

This game hurts, went in thinking we had next to zero chance and to see the boys put their heart and would into it but again lose players through the game and have the rub of the green against us it just hurts.

The worst thing of all is is plain to see that without key personal out and injured we could have won the premiership this year the players we have are that good but we just can't get our best 22 on the park and I don't know about everyone else but it kills me cause we just want that success that every club throws in our face yet we can't quite get there and the moment we are capable we get destroyed by injuries
