We pack the place out when we are on fire eg round 1 v Carl for cousins first game and 1993 preseason GF.
There were empty seats in public for coll v Carl last week and they got 85k

A lot of things have to happen for it to hit 90,000.

Highly unlikely, the figure will be between 75,000-85,000 IMO. Nice weather though will probably push it out to 85k.

Collingwood to thump you.

Typical Richmond, beats down on the lesser competition and a team with a new coach and gameplan.

Actually if you had a clue you would know that we typically knock top sides off but then lose easy games against poor opposition. E.g knocked off Hawks by 10 goals last year and Swans by 5 goals but lost to Gold Coast.

So nbaman1, who do you think will win and why? Does the Richmond midfield stand a chance? Are you a chance to get the sand out of your female bodily parts, and move on after Cotchin tore you apart while Murphy looked like a scared little boy.

Yeah, he definitely injected some confidence into the boys.

Would've been raging hard after the 1 point loss

Collingwood because they're a superior team around the ground.

No, I won't be. It's too fun watching Richmond fans get all emotional whenever someone is compared to the God known as Cotchin.

It might pay to do some reading too. Murphy is off to a decent but slow start after having a delayed pre-season and he'll take a few weeks to get back to his best.

Its good to see that there are very very good posts from all 4 big melbourne clubs being represented here
Collingwood,Essendon,Richmond,Hawthorn which coincidentally are all currently top 8 teams

Whilst its true we have not beaten anygood teams as 1 carlton supporter put it, its understandable as he doesnt consider his team as being anygood due to them not winning any games yet and could possible be 0-5 soon due solely to their game plan no doubt but of course by the time they learn the game plan all of the following players will be retired Waite,Scotland,Carrazzo,Judd,Duigan,Simpson
- So they will need another 3 years to teach their new players the 'Game Plan' By which time m.Malthouse will be in his 10th year and a senior citizen that will need reminding on what his 'Game Plan' was.

But so long as the BIG 4 melbourne clubs are in the 8 the AFL competiton should be well represented by the melbourne clubs.

Tigers 12 points

You consider this bigger than the two Sydney vs Hawthorn grand final replays? Or the Pies/Hawks games? Any game that has teams competing for top 4 rather than bottom of the 8?

Sure, it's a massive game in the context of Richmond's season and if they're able to get over the Pies they're off to an awesome start. When was the last time the Tigers were 4-0? I don't even think I was alive or an after thought...

1995 dude ... we won the first 7 games of that season.

we'll take it easy this week and rest some players because we have the trip to fremantle next week.

tigers by 40 points, give or take 10

Rest some players and still beat us? Yeah okay.
