This is a game where an 'honourable loss' might be accepted*. If we play like we did against Hawthorn it'll show we still have a lot of work to do before September.

Gday guys, not R5 match related but WCE v Swans related..... just saw the final quarter of Classic Matches on Fox (2005 GF). Never watched it again after the day it was played. My god Staker!! So many chances to kick important goals and just kept blowing them and then the 50m to Goodes. You guys controlled so much of that last quarter I can't believe you didn't win in hindsight.

Sorry for intrusion but didn't want to start a new thread for that....but god that must rankle as one that got away.

No they cancelled the 2005 Grand Final because of bad weather I'm pretty sure.




Staker was.. really not good in that game. And playing Gardiner over Lynch was a big mistake I think.
