McQualter needs an answer and a plan for Lever and May. We better not get beaten because they take 12-15 intercept marks between them because it's not an unexpected challenge.

Let's see if McQualter is actually a tactician because just playing our game isn't going to work. We need to either have a small, ground ball entry focus/keep it low, chip it around to short leads or we need to engage them with defensive/tagging forwards.

If we just bomb it long like we do often, Melbourne will destroy us. We don't have the big Lunch to split packs open.

Probably will go in with the same plan, watch may and lever gobble up high balls. Then in the last quarter throws Vlastin into the F50.

Last time we played Melb we actually lowered our eyes which was exactly what we need to do. Even though we lost it made such a difference going forward and adding a new element. Next week though we went back to the same old bombing it long crap but we defs have to lower the eyes going in.

Need to play small, fast and skilled forward line

Bring in Cumbo and Coulthard.
Use Judson as the sub

Miller and Jack to sacrifice themselves on May and Lever while we run, gun and lower our eyes entering 50

Only way to beat Melbourne without Lynch
inb4 cumbo spuds up the ones again

im off him

if we dont debut bradtke when big sexy is out and jack is getting double teamed every week in a dysfunctional forward line , when will we debut him

just do it
We debut players in GFs

We've either gotta play an extra tall to keep them occupied or avoid the high ball at all costs and kick it to their feet.

The one positive with the forward line we have at the moment is that we're the number one side at scoring from inside 50 stoppages.

People understand his role in the team, but he's been playing that role poorly of late.

Including the first 3 qtrs on Saturday, he missed 3 tackles/contests that lead to hawks goals, he was being overrun by the young Hawks mids. His workrate may have been there, and he may have been trying to play his role, but he was being outplayed for the most part.

To his credit, his last qtr was much much better, and his goal was critical, and given that, I don't expect him to be dropped, however to say that his overall performance was acceptable would be foolish.

A few comments in this thread have been along the following lines:

"... do posters not realise that players X,Y,Z were critical in the last quarter to us winning, if the kids were playing instead we don't win that game..."

Do these same posters realise if those players had played to an acceptable standard for the first 3 qtrs, then we wouldn't have been 5 goals down at 3/4 in the first place?

He wasn’t Robinson Crusoe there. Like every player they have form slumps but he never shirks the effort. Not like some in the VFL

Cumberland In keep the forward 50 passes low
Cumberland as a hit up forward
Can't play the bombing it in game
Least now we get to see how good Mini is tacticaly.

seriously bradtke will smash a few campaigners bring him in

hes 196cms and overweight

will be glorious
The Spirit of Relton Roberts will flow through him.

In the changing rooms he will smash 2 fried dimmies, 3 potato cakes and a chiko roll and wash it down with a farmer's union. Will lead to a plugger level performance

Last time Cumberland played against Melbourne he got a renewed one torn for him by Old Mother Hibberd. Noah Slumberland being asleep at the wheel is not a viable play to counter May and Lever.

Coaches votes? LoL.

Not in the same league as the prestigious BFMVPRFC award.
(JG would've been dropped 2 months ago if this board had its way. )
Besides the coaches have voted for 4 Richmond players. this board so far voted for 21 players. Tarranto, Ross, Balta, Dusty , Baker Top 5 so far.
I voted for Broad and I'm not bitching that the coaches didn't vote for him
