Space Cowboys?
Back to the Future?
No Country for Old Men?
;)

Should we expect Mark Williams back as Director of Coaching with an unproven assistant as senior coach?

Is this replacing Rhode or a different position. What is rhode's position, footy ops manager. What's the difference between footy ops manager and director of footy?

Director of footy is a board position overseeing footy department ... Bruce Abernathy's current role.

Just to add to the theme I had heard former director Tony Hobby is interested in helping out with advice but not returning to a FT role.

I thought Rob Snowdon was already a director?

no.

he's done some consulting over past 18 months (bet he was doing some of the review). Tredrea claims it was Snowden that chased Brad Ebert for us.

Good news. This guy was just about the key to our premiership. Having him back at the club could only be good.

I can't wait for Christmas, I wanna unwrap the presents now!

Didn't see this coming at all

I know that his work at SAPN (ETSA's new name) has him pretty busy at the moment and the common consensus was that he couldn't take anything else on

Maybe Bucky got in his ear?

At least thats what advertiser is running..... along with Bucky, Bolton, and Robert Hoey
Please excuse both my ignorance and brief dalliance with the issue of Boulton seeking some form of return to the Board, but didn't he oversee the club as we slipped (plummeted) into the financial hole we currently find ourselves in? Isn't he, in at least some part, responsible for that mismanagement or inability to change the financial landscape?

Get Hitaf back as well and the 2005 Premiership is looking like a real possibility.
I like your thinking but I reckon Hitaf is the one former employee firmly out of reach. I wouldn't rule her out of a very senior position in the future sometime though. Has there ever been a female CE of an AFL Club?

What I like (apart from being sound personel) is that we are shunning the efforts of those in the media that are trying to break up the fabric of Port Adelaide and have us run by outsiders to embrace the broader football community.
We must have the best possible people at our club at the moment and if they largely just happen to be Port people well that's just a cherry on top.

Snowdon has been working with Rohde for the past 12 months according to the tiser.

Port turns to old guard

"Snowdon, the club's football chief from 1997-2002, has returned to Alberton in the past year assisting football operations chief Peter Rohde. He told The Advertiser yesterday he had an open mind on seeking a seat on the board.

He is understood to have already garnered support within a fractured board to replace Bruce Abernethy.
"I have thought about it," said Snowdon. "I am keen to help. I do not like where the place is - it needs new direction and there are good people who want to be involved."

Interesting I reckon its genuinely acknowleged that Rohde has pulled a few right reigns in the last year. Wonder how much that has to do with Snowdon assisting. If Snowdon is backing Rohde, ie believes he is doing a good job, then I can see why KT will keep him.

That's

Thats the thing, we made profits in 04,06,07,08..........

You were conned by the "new regime", read the facts rather than the last 4 years of bullshit.

Greg, amazing corporate revenue results when you were there and then post Dunk it disappeared to a puff of smoke

Welcome back back Boulton!
