Slow Robertio as I'm still recovering from being sick and have no energy.
It's been very quiet here in Carlton.
A bit like a month of Sunday's, traffic only starting on Lygon st now.
I'm up your way (C/maine) this coming weekend, my sisters and I having dinner on Friday night out which is something to look forward to.
Are you back to slashing tomorrow?

I'm finished slashing now and found out today that the Vic government has stopped funding slashing of the sides of highways and roads outside of town boundaries which stinks because they fine you if your grass is too long on your property.

Thought that's been happening for a while now, the drift on not funding anything practical but only funding things that get specific vote garnering eyeballs on them. They've learnt nothing from Black Saturday. Isn't the fearless Premier a member up there?

Master 10 is having his tonsils out today. I asked him what's the best thing about having your tonsils out. A week off school and ice cream and jelly. What's the worst thing. Spending overnight in a hospital in North Lakes.

I had mine out when I was 13. In Frankston Hospital. I, too, was looking forward to the much-vaunted ice cream and jelly. Got told that was an old wives tale, here's your dry toast to help your throat toughen up.

PS Used to get tonsillitis without fail every winter until I had them out, then got bronchitis without fail every winter except for the time I got pneumonia. Now its just manflu and covid.
