tbh a while ago. bontempelli is good, but nowhere near as good as hes been hyped up to be since 2016

I feel like Martin got squeezed out last year when he should have been in and they've squeezed him in this year when he should have probably missed.

I feel like they feel that naming star players like Danger, Dusty or Bont on the bench is unbecoming of them and its either on the field or nothing. When a spot on the bench is probably the most relevant position being not quite good enough to crack the starting midfield for the year but still having years that trump most of the crabs running around in the comp.

Dusty deservingly missed last year and should've missed this year too.

Papley was dogsh*t for the last quarter of the season. Started like a house on fire before drinking his own bathwater. No surprise he missed out.

26 goals. 11 ahead of Dusty and 15 ahead of both Bont and Danger.

Then you have Butler who finished with 27 and Gunston with 31 and Charlie on 26 as well.

Might as well just call it the All Midfielders Team and be done with it.

It’s not the first time. Aside from goals, Hawkins was streets clear of the other forwards in 2018.
