A cafe could bring additional revenue and also work experience/hospo training through the huddle.
Do you know how many cafes go broke? It would more likely run at a loss.

Scorched earth policyGood work
No need to stop at just three trees though
I'm there pretty much weekly and there is **** all people around.
I also know the club have run the numbers and it doesn't ads up.
It's a BigFooty meme is all.
Wtf! We even have an espresso machine at the bee club to serve coffee on the one day a month when the market is on.I’ve never seen the appeal of a proper cafe at Arden St. As long as there are consistently food trucks around for the VFL/AFLW games I.e the times when people are actually around - that should be perfectly fine.
Something I’ve wondered about: is there any on site catering for players? After training lunches, that sort of thing? Do any clubs do that?
I’m not really the best person to debate this topic - I’m never there and am quite unlikely to ever be there. I would only say that as long as match days are being catered to a reasonable standard, I don’t think anything else is needed. No issues with people who feel otherwise.Wtf! We even have an espresso machine at the bee club to serve coffee on the one day a month when the market is on.
It cost nothing when your not using it. Power it up the morning of market day and stock aome fresh beans. As for a food servery even a match or training day kiosk is better than nothing. Virtually every country football club has said facilities.
Sure you can compliment it with food trucks and the like for variety but its a no brainier in my experience.

Don't see too many go broke. Fitness is the other I would look at.A Cafe won't bring additional revenue, it'll cost us revenue.

The bit about residents needing recreational facilities hits a bit different now we are discussing whether Vic Park should be allowed to keep hosting professional football given how extensively it is used all week as a public space. Yes there is an opportunity, but it’s a balancing act.Arden St will remain our permanent home.
Spectator seating is a part of the plans long term. Ideally a couple of additional grandstands.
Permanent food and drink selling amenities will be incorporated.
Second oval.
The 40,000 additional residents of the precinct will require further recreational facilities.
The Kanga CrecheThis, then we can indoctrinated all the young kids coming through !

Extra points for the use of "tuck shop"“And so it's going to be a significant project, but you're absolutely right. Some grand stands would be great. We don't even have a tuck shop at the moment”
“You've got to bring food trucks in, which is fun, but we need to have some more amenity there. So that'll all happen in the next period of time.”
