Honestly he will. Great hands, can run, great skills and take a big mark.Really hoping Lobbster will make a difference.
If we give up 11 as part of the Lobb deal, doesn't that weaken us a bit for Hogan?
IF we are still interested in him and we put a "best and final" offer in place, does that change ifnwe no longer have 11?
Is it hypocrotical to offer more if we end up trading Neale for 5 + 18?
So many variables.
I would rather do the Neale trade, for 5 + 18 (Brisbane can EAD) and then flip 18 for Lobb. Hold on 11 + future 2nd for Hogan. If he is as big a head case as is being insinuated then we can't pay overs for him.
Interesting 3 days ahead.
We will get 5 and 18 froms Lions when the pies give them 18 for Beams.Apparently GWS will accept a mid teens draft pick for Lobb.
And Freo wants it from Brisbane for Neale. Pick 5 and a mid teens pick.
Depends if Gold Coast are willing to accept 8 for May. Melbourne won't deal if it doesn't help them get May, but i love this trade would be a great result! What if, we turn Neale and 30 into 5 and 18.
Then turn 5 into 8 and 16 from Adelaide.
Then we have 8, 14, 16 and 18. More than enough currency for Hogan.
Pay ‘overs’ for Hogan, say 8 and 14.
Somehow we turned Neale and 6, into 16,18, Lobb and Hogan.
Honestly he will. Great hands, can run, great skills and take a big mark.
He will make more of a difference than people think

But if we do that he is one player that can pack mark these. Hogan is better on the lead. That's how they differHonestly though, my biggest worry is our mids seeing him up forward and bombing rainmakers to him.
I just hope we get enough consistently healthy players on the park so they can get used to playing a familiar role.
Egos, everyone tries to outdo the other in each deal instead of looking for the win-win for both teamsThought this would happen this morning, wonder what the hold up is
Trade period is way too long. Causes clubs to muck around instead of getting the deal done.
Way too long or way too short for mine. Either have it over in a week or so and force the clubs to not stuff around or have it spread out over 2-3 months which'll mean the media won't pump the whole period up to the extent that they do.
The draft order isn't finalised until after the grand final.Give clubs their picks at the end of the year but allow them to trade whenever. Full forward goes down a week before the finals when you're in a top 4 spot?? Bet teams would be willing to offer some juicy trades to get another one in...
Tabs for 2 first rounders? I like your thinking...Give clubs their picks at the end of the year but allow them to trade whenever. Full forward goes down a week before the finals when you're in a top 4 spot?? Bet teams would be willing to offer some juicy trades to get another one in...

And with a team he actually wants to play forJust had a look at Lobb’s stats. Not great reading. Hopefully things change with more time forward.
