Club decided to not renew Ross at the end of next season so acted today to not tread water for 12 months and have constant speculation.

Alcock is doing very poorly. It's vague, contradictory and defensive.
It's not about results, but he got sacked because we can't make finals.
I have zero confidence in them. My only hope is that there are reason's they can't discuss that went into this because otherwise it smells bad.
It sounds like the club had decided Ross wasn't going to coach beyond 2020, regardless of the results in 2020.

I know it’s not the norm, but would have loved Belly answering the questions, in particular the football related questions.
Well that gave me zero confidence
We're going to be elite - don't worry about any, literally any of the details though.
All this double speak tells me is that there is a whole heap of shit on the walls behind the scenes that they don't want to reveal publicly.

Press conference performance is irrelevant, a slick press conference has never been an indication of future success. All that matters is the decisions and it was evident to the entire football community that Freo has made the right choice.
