Autopsy Round 1, 2020: Hawks defeat the Lions

So the Hawks open their account in 2020 with a good win over the Lions. Sam Frost and Jonathan Patton both had good club debuts. O'meara and Worpel looked brilliant in midfield and Tom Mitchell didn't miss a beat on return! Scully and Shiels were everywhere playing really important games. Jonathan Ceglar held his own in the ruck and Pupolo's forward pressure was brilliant! Chad Wingard was absolutely superb doing it at both ends and showing great skill through the middle! Even though we don't know when/if the season will return for sure. It'll be exciting when it does because this Hawks team looks like something special!!!

In other news, give Shaun Burgoyne a 10 year extension!

Personally, I think the 2 month suspension could work in our favor. It might mean that Burgoyne, Frawley, Henderson and Smith can be fresh once the season resumes and also it might extend their careers further. Also Hardwick, Impey and Howe should all be available once the season resumes in May-April.
