I watched a few minutes of Essendon v Geelong and I found myself barracking for Essendon... my mind knew better but I dunno? It was kind of like a person kicking an innocent dog.
No. Where ever in your brain the neurons holding those foul thoughts are, shut them down, right now. If you can't, I know a neurosurgeon, they can map where thoughts live. Small op, you'll be fixed.

Can't wait to welcome one of the greatest onfield Hawks ever into his new career as one of our greatest coaches ever with a first up win.

Looking forward to our debutants having big ones, to spearhead our next era.

Despite the media beat up, I know Clarko will be watching on, hoping for a win; Sammy's legacy will always be entwined with his.

It's just great to be going to the footy again.

Can you still enter the ground with you actual membership card?

I got mine sent to me, so I assume it works.

Edit: it doesn't. Had to sign in through the app.
Depends if you have reserve seats or not, I think. I got in on my physical card to access my reserved seats. Speaking of which, there are a bunch of North Melbourne supporters in the Hawthorn reserved seat members. Annoys me no end.

Cool breeze but it drops off a lot. When it's calm, it's fairly warm in the sunshine. A bit of humidity in the air as well. Could be some players feeling it by the time the last quarter rolls around.

Most commentators tipping Roos atm, probably based on us getting slogged for goals during the practice matches.

Just looking to see some clever football at points, rather than bombing into the forward line as old.

Ground announcer announced the passing of a few Hawthorn people, including Peter MacKenzie. I had a bit to do with Peter a few years ago when I was on a charity board. Peter was an amazing supporter of and contributor to Hawthorn. He and his wife used to host players from interstate. He was a member of a coterie group of supporters and he also owned and operated the aged care facility in which Allan Jeans resided in the last few years of Jeans' life. Will be missed by plenty at Hawthorn.
