I know I will get slammed for saying this.Worrel doesn't really look 195cm on this photo.
Has Dawson bulked up?
I actually don’t think Dawson is that good below his knees or at ground ball gets.I know I will get slammed for saying this.
Looking at Dawson I think hes going into the midfield... seriously look at the guy - bulked up sure has
No wonder they have no interest in phillipou
I'm surprised so many people believe the heights our club release!Worrel doesn't really look 195cm on this photo.

Yepmurphy isnt a pressure forward though
he doesn't tackle, his pressure acts are low and he certainly doesn't kick goals
is he a pest yes? does he win games no
if you want him please take him
It's not our club that measures them.I'm surprised so many people believe the heights our club release!
Worrell is nothing over 192.
195 always been a fake number, but ppl think he may be a key back from it.
Lets also believe that Butts is anything more than 195. Haha.
I think we measured guys with long
stops on a cpl years ago.

Who cares. Tom Stewart is 190, Rampe is 189, Rance was 194, Grimes is 193, Jmcgovern is 190 (oops edit 197), Steven May is 190 (edit 193) etc etc etcI'm surprised so many people believe the heights our club release!

Exactly. Shaun Rehn and David Pittman were 199cm when they were early 20's. By retirement they were 204cm.Who cares. Tom Stewart is 190, Rampe is 189, Rance was 194, Grimes is 193, Jmcgovern is 190 (oops edit 197), Steven May is 190 (edit 193) etc etc etc

oh god you're probably rightThey're probably bulking up Dawson so he can play as a Key Defender... Nicksy loves our best ball user defending in a back pocket...
We lack quality outside players... so let's play our best outside player to defence, then try him as an inside midfielder.I actually don’t think Dawson is that good below his knees or at ground ball gets.
We would be wasting his strengths if we give a lot of inside mid time.
And build their game plans around those strengthsWe lack quality outside players... so let's play our best outside player to defence, then try him as an inside midfielder.
Smart coaches play players to their strengths.
I think Nankervis will be a lock from round 1. I expect him to play at least 15games.This guy is building nicely, I reckon will see him get a run end of 2023 or start of 2024. His body is starting to look really conditioned. I wish Cook was featured in these highlights.
Rebuilds are tough because of the win-loss, but I do love watching the development of the draftees we've picked up. The excitement around finding gem like Soligo and hitting our first rounder like Rachele.
The sanfl final series really put Taylor and Pedlar on the fringes of the 22 in 2023. I reckon Nank wasn't far behind. Watching any of the Pedlar or Taylor's highlights from vardy magic, Nank was involved in the play in some capacity.

He's has the most upside out of our SANFL team imo and is tough at it which translates to afl. Have a look at his finals games, he was a standout. Nank, Pedlar and Taylor are the next in imo.
If you believe Nankervis will play 15 games next year I have a bag of magic beans to sell you. He's has the most upside out of our SANFL team imo and is tough at it which translates to afl. Have a look at his finals games, he was a standout. Nank, Pedlar and Taylor are the next in imo.
You could of said that of Soligo this time last year. There's always a breakout player or two at all clubs. It's just that the crows have prioritised playing cooked experience previously but Nick's must expedite the rebuild now. Players such as McHenry, Murphy, Smith, Milera, Sloane shouldn't be locks. If Nick's plays Dawson back I can see Nank on a wing pushing forward. Pedlar also needs to come in for McHenry or Murphy. We need more attacking players in the team that can score. Rankine, Rachele and Taylor also have those qualities. If you believe Nankervis will play 15 games next year I have a bag of magic beans to sell you.

Dawson is best played where Sydney played him which was on the wing and at half forward. He has great skills and is a very good mark. He isn't a mid or a backman. Very similar player to Isaac Smith who is best utilised as an attacking weapon.i agree and I also think he doesn't accelerate hard enough or move the right way but I reckon we need to give him a run of weeks to confirm either way.
