Probably need him to play as that backline is a huge concern.Looks like no Phillips
Merrett an ideal hard tag candidate though. With Parish missing he is their only gun mid and he can neither outmuscle nor outrun Finn and gets a lot of ball on the outside. Shut him down and I think the rest of our midfield can get on topPersonally my preference would be to play HH over Finn. Need to trust midfielders to do the job
Ward named on ball.Wouldn't mind seeing Ward rack up 30 touches and shut a few people up.
Very short. Was thinking the same thing about Gunston as he's pretty much the only option. My first thought - are we a bit “little” or short? Gunner down back rather than up front maybe ?
Hope that’s all it is. I’m rather irked he’s not there, it means we have to rely on a massive liability and an undersized gun who, for the 458th time, is NOT a KPP.He needs a couple of weeks to get up to speed with our system, so giving him the time at Box Hill makes sense.
Really surprised they didn't give him a chance to back it up the following week then, instead saying they were "managing" him for the gamelike u say he was poor defensively against the bulldogs
Yeah that’s surprising
We do love a "vertically challenged" CHF at the Hawks.Pretty even game on paper. Maybe our new CHF D Moore will give us the slight edge
Shut down Merrett and we will give ourselves a huge chance as the rest of their mids are not that damaging.
Big challenge for Reeves up against one of the best ruckman over the past decade. They will test us with their height up forward and we should test them with our speed.
Can’t wait!

What a massive concern that area of the ground is.
If their midfield happens to give their forwards even halfway decent supply, the fat lady will be singing before half time.

Yep it was Harry or FinnThere's no one he displaces in the side really. He's an honest role player, but Mitchell is seemingly picking based on perceived upside. Well for this week at least. Hopefully it's a sign of the side progressing and maturing.
The only player he may have possibly replaced would be Maginess IMO. Though if he's starting then it's obviously because he's been given a job.
* haven't gone that tall up forward. Langford and Stringer are mediums that can be covered by our medium defenders. Frost on Wright and then if we can put Sicily on Jones he will slaughter himMy first thought - are we a bit “little” or short? Gunner down back rather than up front maybe ?
Finn tagging Merrit should give us a massive advantage in that space. If our midfield loses to a Parish-less injectors side we have much bigger problems than a VFL KPD not playing in the seniors.
The * board not impressed with the selections of Heppell (glorious for us) and Kelly.
Geez they’ll go feral if they put in a stinker.
They really aren’t that impressive on paper.
Real chance here I feel

He could still be a late call up. With Brad trying to stretch our defence. No Draper for the Dons means they won't be going tall in their F50.
Redman - Reid - McGrath
Moore - Lewis - Ginnivan
Heppell - McKay - Kelly
Watson - Chol - Breust
Hopefully Lewis is in for a big game. We need to quell Redman and stop him from running off.
It’s not that simple/black and white (red and black?). We could comfortably win the midfield battle but still lose the game by 10 goals…If our midfield loses to a Parish-less injectors side we have much bigger problems than a VFL KPD not playing in the seniors.
Had his chance, was woeful in the praccys. I like Harry but he's not gonna play for as long as he's exploited defensively.Morrison not even an emergency![]()

Ha hahahah hahaha.
My personal feelings aside it is funny to see the "Frost is cooked" sentiment is as accurate this year as it was last year.
