The board and I guess fan base wide love of dev, Rayner, Berry, Hipwood etc really is bizarre. They are poor players in a team that’s getting beat. Even when we are dominating they have a higher chance of being okay than amazing. No consistency outside of being consistently missing.

Pretty much hung shit on those players since I came back and was lynched. But it's true. Hipwood has peaked. And we have signed him on a long term deal. We are stuck with him for another six years. It's gross.

I think starting next year with two Ashcrofts, a Doedee and a Coleman is essentially a mini-rebuild on what we have here. I think we can go again next year, but this year has a smell about it.

This year I think should be a mini rebuild type of year. See what we have, get our injured players back and build towards a full strength list in 2025. Maybe a massive coaching change with it. We need a fresh restart with a mini rebuild IMO. There is no reason why we can't be contenders for another five years if the club play their cards right.
